$100,000 annual non bag spend per store is probably enough for an SA to look the other way on a client’s separate but duplicate account.
When I was in Hawaii, one of the SAs told me about a woman who loves both of the H stores in Hawaii and has an SA at each one that she really likes, and a separate account at each one accordingly. They are well aware of it (clearly) and she gets 4 QBs a year, 2 from each. I don't recall exactly, but $100-200k a year per store sounded about right (leading to the conversation of "what would you even buy for that much every year??").

LOL well one couch would do it!! (I’ve never bought a couch at H!)

FJ and leather RTW also add up scary fast!

I could definitely do it for a year or two, with someone else’s bank account anyway. But every year? Maybe now I’m starting to understand my friend who has a sofa in his powder room…
This would actually be a fun game for its own thread: you have to spend $200k at H. Assuming everything online is available in-store, what are you buying?

Assuming anyone actually needs ideas (doubtful lol) - you can get there with high jewelry in like one piece. (Furniture - as already named - is another category but obviously less space efficient 😆)

yes my store director texted me a picture of a diamond bracelet right before Christmas that was $221k and she said she thought "it was a steal!" LOLOLOL!!! (obviously I did not buy it!)

The short answer is no. There is something called world wide search but that’s not a simple nor fast process so I don’t think that’s quite what you meant.
Now you make me wonder. My SA secured a herbag a dos from a different country for me. I was a fairly new client at that point so can’t imagine that they went through such a process for me. Maybe starting to like them again 😂

Was that the finesse high jewelry series? I remember reading the bracelet (larger diamonds version) was 220k+. And the necklace iirc was 3xx k. Earrings were a “mere” 110k lol

It’s a steal in the sense that I’d need to steal from a bank first, I guess…

You’re located in Europe, where world wide search isn’t a thing (at least certainly not the first step to locating an item). SAs can easily see which other European country has an item in stock and the quantity. They can choose to request a transfer. In general this is a simple and fast process.
However, if an SA is willing to look it up for a client, if they want to offer you a request for a transfer of the item, if the stock manager subsequently is willing to actually request it from the other store and if the other store will agree to a transfer are all different matters and each at their own discretion. And it also depends on the item; some obvious ones are off-limits immediately, others a store might be more than willing to let go because it’s been “sitting there” for a while and everything in between. Of course (as their first consideration) they also taking into account how serious one is about actually buying.

No it was a Kelly bracelet with baguette diamonds along the bracelet part and pave diamonds on the buckle part.
I mean it was gorgeous but.......

Sorry if this has been asked but I can’t find it on search — can SAs order items from different countries inventory? Or is this partly why some of you have multiple SAs from different countries? Don’t want to step on any toes finding out how to get something myself from abroad, but also reaaallly love this piece
In some countries in Europe, yes, because some countries are grouped together. For example, my country's store is grouped together with the Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg) stores. So when I asked for a bag and it was not available at the store, my SA did a search on the group (she showed me on the iPhone app). And then when it was not there, she told me that she's going to do a search and that she will just email me.

I don't know if she searched other countries but she eventually found it in Paris where she requested a transfer. This was almost 3 years ago, though.

They can do a world wide search. The store requesting for the item would need to foot the shipping fees. So, probably they don’t do it for customers whose account is not big enough. However, I haven’t heard of anybody doing this for a while. Maybe due to poor inventory levels or each store being overly protective of their own stock. Not too sure.

My SA did a world wide search on a piece of RTW for me, around the end of last year, nothing came out of it though. :shrugs:
Most SAs will do a "worldwide search" but what they really mean is they are searching regional inventory - not the smaller regions like Benelux, but for instance they will search the EU, SE Asia, US/Canada, or China. (That's not them being deceptive, it's just terminology.) I just had an item transferred from Amsterdam, took under a week; OTOH, I am STILL looking for a piece of jewelry that I've been after for 2-3 years.

If you do a charge send in store.. do you have your SA send to your home or do you pick up in store? Is there a difference? I noticed that some items my SA says I will ship to your home and some items she says come back to the store to pick it up..

Do you always prepay or are the items you pick up in store paid at pickup?

If you prepay, then it’s a charge send and it’s typically up to you and your convenience where to have it delivered. I could potentially see the SA suggesting you pick up from the store an item whose sizing may be in question so that you can do a quick return if it doesn’t fit, but otherwise it doesn’t make any difference to the store/SA (or, I guess, if your SA is just trying to bait you back into the store to spend more money…). However, if the items you are picking up in store are paid for at the time of pickup, I suspect that is actually a transfer, not a charge send, which is more work but ultimately more beneficial to the store.

Thank you for your response. It has always been prepaid. I presume it’s either because it’s a high ticket item so she wants me to pick up in store versus baiting me back into store.
