How can I do that? 👐🏻👐🏻
I’m not sure why you would want to. It sounds like you already have a couple of profiles (yours and your husband’s, at least). Starting a new profile (which isn’t an easy thing to do, btw) would just start you from scratch and you’d still have to do all the spending and loyalty and hope that the SA likes you etc. Plus they are cracking down on duplicate profiles, even between family members and I’ve heard quite a few stories of bags being denied at the point of sale once the SM finds you have more than one profile. Your best bet is to be pleasant and spend often on your husband’s account and be loyal to one SA at one store.

You should have done it when u r first time in a store that is new to you. And I have no idea why u would accept a bag in that store that is new to you to an old profile. Nevertheless, it’s too late now.

Some SAs would tell you up front how it will impact you and be considerate to advice you to stick to your home store but I guess this one did not.

I’m hoping someone has an answer to a commission question. I bought a jacket that I ended not loving and returned it to the store for store credit. The sales associate didn’t really help other than ring me up and wasn’t friendly in the aftermath. Understandably, I would like to shop with someone else going forward, likely at a different store.

When I shop with a new SA and use my credit to pay, will the new SA make commission off my sale even though I have a store credit? Anyone know how that works? Assume yes since it’s just a form of payment but not sure!

Yes, the new SA will get the commission.

Question regarding when my Hermes SA earns commission and when she does not. Yesterday, I was at my local Chanel boutique and shopping with my lovely SA, and I tried on and bought a jacket from her. I asked about a matching pair of pants and she said she would love to get it for me even if she needed to request a transfer from another store and the sale/credit went to them. I asked if she wouldn’t get commission in that case and she just smiled and shook her head and said it’s helping each other out (between stores and SAs) and went both ways. It got me thinking, is that how it works with Hermes as well? My Hermes SA would not earn commission if she had to transfer an item for me? If anyone knows the answer to this, much appreciated!

Feel free to peruse this lengthy thread for tons of good information. In short, as long as your SA facilitates the sale, s/he gets sales credit and commission. Whether your store gets the credit or not is a different more detailed question.

Hi friends, I’ve been using my own account(my name/phone number, home address, my credit card) shopping at one boutique for couple years and got QBs before.

Recently we relocated to another city, so I decided to start a separate journey with my local boutique, using my DH’s name (his phone number, his credit card but same home address with my account). I’ve been buying items in my local boutique under DH name without any issues. Recently I was managed to apply the first QB from my local boutique but then my SA told me she saw I’ve scored QB in another boutique already, so she asked me to confirm if I really want to shop with her going forward. From what I understand, shopping with her going forward means I will not be able to get bags from my previous boutique, but I thought I kept 2 accounts already using different names. How did this happen and how can the SA see the history in another account(i never shared my info but only my husband's info with the SA)? Is there any way I can keep shopping in both boutiques without any issues, since I’ve built the relationship with my SA in the first boutique, and have spent $$$ in the second already….

They are cracking down on multiple accounts for one household. Sounds like you’ve been “caught”. By the rule book, the SA should not have allowed you to make purchases on another person’s account; your husband should have been required to be there and hand over his own card everytime. Have you verified the receipts are in his name and client number? As for how she found out, do you have the same last name? If so, everytime she brings up your husband’s account, your’s would be right under it. Then she’d just have to see that the addresses are the same. It’s likely the SA would have let it go if your husband was actually the one doing the shopping but since you were the obvious client on both accounts, they are going to shut that down (unless of course you spend enough to earn forgiveness for the “bad behavior”…)

Thank you. We dont have same last name, the only same info on our accounts I can recall is the address. Now you just mentioned one household, it sounds like they dont care how many accounts but as long as sharing the same address equals to one household? or as long as bringing my DH with me every time going forward will help?

A quota means a quota, as in - there's a set limit.
The limit is set by H.
If you are thought of (by either store/SA/SM/company) as cheating the system by whatever means whether you meant to or not, you will either be lucky and have the situation rectified to being the one person you are, or you will be blacklisted.
Agree strongly with @papertiger. Now that you’ve been “found out” you are walking a dangerous line to being unwelcome at both stores. If your local SA decides to merge the accounts into a family account, your HI SA will see the local purchases and likely sour that relationship as well. How the SA found out is kind of moot at this point. She knows you were using someone else’s’ info to try to game the system and you can’t unring the bell. Now you need to decide which store/SA you want to shop with going forward and I recommend being fiercely loyal to that one SA/store once you decide.
