Just fyi for anybody interested, I ordered that Paris Rocks bag but it's going back. It's not the dark burgundy shade I was hoping for; has too much mauve-y pink in the undertone for me. :sad:

That's too bad. It's so hard to gauge colors from online photos. Any other bags you're considering instead?

I should receive my gray Mademoiselle Longchamp tomorrow!

In the grand scheme of life I understand that a purse is rather insignificant but I have been interested in this bag since it was first unveiled last spring. It arrived in a large box with two other items. I have ordered cheap little J. Crew bags from Nordies that came packaged nicer! No stuffing in he bag so it has wrinkling on the sides and bottom of the bag. I love the color so I may try again. Although I am wondering if I would do better to get the larger size. I guess I've got time to reconsider now... :hrmm:

Oh no, I'm so sorry! I know how disappointed you must be. :sad: Shame on Nordstrom! They usually do better than that in my experience. What Nordstrom employee thinks its ok to throw a $1,000+ bag in a cardboard box and call it a day???? I'd call/online chat to complain.

Perhaps you could try ordering your Mademoiselle from longchamp.com? As you can see from the pics on the first page, mine came with an interior box, very well packed, with lots of stuffing around it.

I feel your disappointment! From your pictures, I can see how the sides had caved in due to poor packaging or something crushing on it. Do give the bag another chance and I second Cosmo's recommendation to order from Longchamp website. I ordered just a small wallet before from the LC website and packaging was immaculate.

This is terrible - a beautiful bag ruined because of no stuffing during shipping! Ordering from LC should be better
