Mademoiselle Longchamp reveal!

And here’s my new Mademoiselle Longchamp bag in Grey! It’s beautiful IRL. The leather is thick and soft, not stiff, and smells divine. Actual measurements of this smaller model are about 10¼” x 6¾” x 4¾”, which is a little longer and wider than the typical LC crossbody. It’s very roomy, easily holds a full-size wallet. I’m glad now that I didn’t get the larger model because I feared it would be a bit bulky for me as a shoulder bag. The drop on the long crossbody strap is about 23”.

Definitely check out the video in my first post above. It will make you want the bag

I should not have watched the video. It does makes me want it, especially the grey with its gorgeous silver hardware. [emoji28] The shorter strap is growing on me, offering an easy and quick way to 'grab' the bag, in addition to another way of wearing it with the long strap on.

The more I see this bag, the more I fall in love with it. [emoji171]

Haha! :graucho: Thank you ladies. I really do recommend checking it out in person if you can. It's a great mid size bag and very versatile. I can see myself carrying it on a big European vacation (or even a weekend trip to NYC) and wearing it crossbody by day and by the short handle at night.

I feel like the Heritage Hobo would be a better and sleeker option to this large Mademoiselle bag since they are both shoulder bags.

I finally managed to check out both sizes in person on Friday! They both feel so soft and luxurious - I am a fan! I prefer the larger sized one because I think that size works best for my daily needs including my water bottle. Compared to the Heritage Hobo, it is really a few notches above as it is so soft, feels so luxe and is a lot lighter in terms of weight. The bigger one in Black nearly came home with me but I spotted a tiny scratch that I didn't like, so my SA is bringing over the other one from another boutique. Hope everything goes well tomorrow when I go to the boutique!

Yay that is great news! :congrats: I'm so happy for you and glad to hear you found a Mademoiselle to love. I have not seen the larger size IRL. I hope you have it in your hands tomorrow and I am really looking forward to your reveal!!!!!

Hi all,
It's my first post ever on this forum, have been reading for some time now as I'm considering purchasing my first serious bag :) I saw today this beauty and I can't get it out of my head. Doesn't it remind you of the LV pochette metis a little?

I have 2 questions for you more experienced folks out there or the ones that already managed to snag theirs (Congrats!)
- I noticed on the pics above - the girl with flowy dress the flab of the bag is wringking and creasing. Does it happen to yours as well? I'm wondering if it will not be a problem as the bag ages...
- It is quite bulky at the bottom - does it lay nicely on your hip when you are wearing it corssbody?

Would appreciate any advice or input you can provide :)
