Congrats!!!! I love the color you pick --- the red dots is very nice against the grey background. Indeed LC may finally have a winner in this bag --- it is very well made, light, and very modern shape. I saw this in my local boutique about a month back and almost bought it. Went for a BV pillow instead because I was looking for something more casual. But the image still haunts me and you brought it back! And good job for a successful instagram!

Is the short strap removable?

Is the short strap adjustable?

I've been wondering about both of those questions and I'm not sure about the answer.

There are four studs along the short strap that would seem to make it adjustable. But I'm not seeing any noticeable slits in the leather holes through which to slide the studs out. Perhaps the studs are just decorative? I'm afraid to pull too hard and mess up the bag.

Also, the hardware rings that hold the short strap appear that they may have an opening mechanism to remove the strap entirely, but I'm not sure. I kind of doubt it.

I'm guessing that in 11 days, when Longchamp officially launches the Mademoiselle bag, the answers about the details will become more clear.

Thanks! And yes the small size Mademoiselle is plenty roomy.

Below are some instagram modeling pics of the large Mademoiselle and it appears bulky (and potentially heavy) to me. Another member who has seen the large in person told me this week that it is bulky.

I feel like the Heritage Hobo would be a better and sleeker option to this large Mademoiselle bag since they are both shoulder bags. As for the size you have, there is no better option :D

Those 4 studs look fixed...
