Not sure anyone has noticed..the quilted look on made in Italy WOC looks more puffier than the made in France.

Sorry for quoting such an old entry. I recently bought my first Chanel - a black caviar WOC in SHW made in Italy. Unfortunately I had to return it as there was some peeling in the leather. I got exchanged with a made in France one and noticed the quilting is quite flat. Now I saw this entry it all makes sense. I'm going to exchange again to a made in Italy one if possible 😄. Thank you and glad I read this👍

You are welcomed. Let us know if you are able to exchange it again as the wait is long for WOC.

My Jumbo is made of italy, really lovely, shines and puffy. I have inspected an made of France jumbo, not the same quality at all, not as shiny and puffy. I thought that the same quality standards applies to all Chanel production facilities?!

Thanks. I can't believe there is such a difference between an MIF and MII!! If not for TPF I wouldn't have known and may have settle for the one I was given as an exchange...
Didn't know either and so happy to be informed by the ladies here that I made a notation on my iPhone for WOC since I don't have one

For some reason I prefer buying Chanel that is made in Italy compared to France. I found a lot of problems with the WOC I purchased that was made in France. The interior was rough, threads were loose and there was a missing stitch on the WOC that was made in France. I took it back to Chanel and they exchanged it with the WOC that was made in Italy and the workmanship compared to the WOC made in France was completely different, where the interior was much more neat. As much as I wanted my Chanel WOC to be made in France (for some odd reason) I think I'll be considering more Chanel pieces from Italy. Any input?

I just brought my very first chanel! A black caviar WOC from bloomingdales made in spain. When inspecting the serial sticker inside however, i noticed some glue residue holding the sides of the pocket together. This surprised me since I would have assumed the bag would be held together by stitching. Is there visible glue in all WOCs? I can't help but wonder if this is because it was made from Spain?
I noticed with the WOC that I recently exchanged, there is glue residue on the leather and a bit inside but it does come off.
