Funnily, the bag that I purchased from Paris was made in Spain, and the bag that I purchased from the UK was made in Paris!

I have five Chanel bags ~ all Made In Italy. They all came from either NM or BG. Maybe only Chanel boutiques are carrying Made In France?

Anyone out there have a bag Made In France from a major department store???

My m/l classic flap bought from Selfridges London is Made in France & the GST bought from Printemps Paris is Made in Italy.

I just bought a black quilted yen wallet yesterday. It is made in Spain. It doesn't bother me as I bought it Chanel boutique & is a brand new.No question with the leather/workmanship is superb. .I think as long as it is from the chanel boutiques or reputable dept stores it should be authentic. Maybe workmanship in Spain is cheaper? Absolutely no idea.

I really don't care at all where the box is made. I don't wear or carry the box; I wear/carry the bag/wallet/coin purse/etc.
