Made in Italy vs Made in France vs Made in Spain

I have five Chanel bags ~ all Made In Italy. They all came from either NM or BG. Maybe only Chanel boutiques are carrying Made In France?
Anyone out there have a bag Made In France from a major department store???

I bought all my 6 bags in Chanel boutiques, but only 1 was Made in France. The rest were all made in Italy. Even my 3 wallets were from Italy. Maybe it's random assignment? I wonder about this qn too...

I have Made in France from Bergdorf's! It depends on the batch. My best caviar , the best flap I own and have ever seen is my Beige caviar jumbo with gold heardwear. From 2009 I think, it has marked hardware, the caviar is gorgeous , thick, shiny and what an amazing quality. It is made in Italy.

I think it's random, and from reading this entire post, also may depend on seasons. I have bought bags from various Chanel boutiques as well as from places like Neiman Marcus, and I have an assortment (some from Paris, some from Italy) coming from both Chanel boutiques and department stores. My oldest (vintage now) were made in France and Italy, and many "specialty" bags such as evening bags and seasonal bags were also made in Italy. My Kelly and flaps were mostly made in France, but I think it was just the luck of the draw as it were. SLGs also made in France.
Leathers are not all the same, and many variables go into making up a leather hide, including food, health, environment, and many more. Then the tanning process itself, and the craftsmanship of the workers handling the leather, from tanning to sewing, brings in variables. No two are going to be exactly the same.
Sorry, long post to kind of sum up the thread but also answer this particular question. Boutiques and department stores have a variety, even the boutiques in France seem to have a variety (Italy versus France). So long as the bag is a good one, it's good.
I made a mistake in my previous post - of my five Chanel bags, one IS made in France, purchased last year at Neiman's. Of all my bags, it's one of the least expensive (Timeless CC in black patent) and it is beautifully made, though I have no complaints about any of my current Chanel bags' quality.
