Layla! Of course I have access to read /buy/google the book whatever ! what I wanted to highlight was that since the sentence you're quoting has very cleverly been cut out of its context and glued on another It should be put right there with its context FOR EVERYONE TO SEE AND MAKE ASSUMPTIONS !that at least will be the right thing IMO!
And since you very willingly posted excerps of the book here in several threads I invite you to post this particular sentence WITH ITS CONTEST if this does not bother you!TIA!
No, Chanelspell, I will not engage in playing games with you and I have provided documentation with links ad nauseum. If you find my past post too tedious to read that's all right, I understand. http://forum.purseblog.com/chanel/is-that-just-plain-inflation-194503-4.html#post4154715[/B]
At this point in this discussion (thread) more heat is being generated than light and as in real life, I will no longer participate and enable this tableturning; a defensive tactic used at diverting attention from the matter at hand. It would be an act of futility and one in which I do not have the energy or desire to continue with you.
Out of respect for and deference to the TPF readers & members...:back2topic:
I was pretty sure I was going to get that answer!I did not expect you would post the real context ever ! Thanks for replying anyway!
Swanky, pardon me for being redundant since I said this in another thread where this info was reposted, but I wonder why some bags then are stamped "Made in Italy?" I think my GST was made in Italy...
I don't care where the heck my handbag is made. I do not think craftsmanship is genetic nor do I think the stellar-handbag-maker-gene is inherent to Italians and French people. If the Chinese or the green people from Mars can make excellent bags, then cheers for all of us!

[B said:PinkEms;[/B]4306435]I'd really like it if good quality handbags were made in China in good conditions, but most of the time the places making things in China are sweat shops. I can't justify giving a company my money and them making so much, when people are being worked to death. This goes for any thing, not just bags.
