Made in Italy vs Made in France vs Made in Spain

In my experience, Chanel fans don't seem to care if their products are made in Italy or France, I know it doesn't make a difference to me.
It doesn't affect resale as far as I know, if it does, it's probably only a very small % of people.
It's not like LV's and LV fans where people care if it's made in Europe or USA.

I just discovered something really interesting. On my new flap that came with the correct box for once, there is a sticker "Made in France" right on the box next to the picture and SKU number. I didn't know the box is labeled where it was made!

As for me, I don't think I'd care where my Chanels were made. I have GSTs, baby cabas, etc. made in Italy. Most of the flap were made in France. The quality have been good on all of them so far.

I agree most of my Flaps are from France, which I love, I prefer seeing France instead of Italy. I believe all my clutches are from France as well. While all my GSTs are from Italy.

I rather have the France  stamp in my bags than Italy.

All my flaps are from France, one of my clutch from Italy and a GST on it's way to me is from Italy. Given a choice I always opp for Made In France but I don't mind a Made In Italy.

There's another thread on the difference of old/new caviar which suggested "new" caviar jumbos are mostly made in Italy with a smoother texture and those that were made in France had the "old" caviar which were darker and more pebbly.

Has any one ever asked why Made In France is in english, not french? it's one of the Chanel quirks I think about. Adding to that, do older bags (50,60s,70s) have Made in France stamps?
