For anyone who has seen (or has purchased) the OTG / speedy 25 / neverfull with the flowers - how are the flowers are attached? I am worried about corners and edges of the flower pattern rolling up over time or getting caught on something. Thanks in advance for any insight you may have.
Hi, a friend of mine got the Speedy and took pictures for me. We are confused as to how they are attached (or not) as well. As far as I can tell and I am by no means an expert, it would appear as though the flowers are initially silkscreened on the exterior. They then might have used a technique called "trapunto" quilting where they use a batting on the underside of the leather. They then stitch around the flowers on the outside to give then the raised look. Again, this is purely speculation on my part, but they are not patches that would appear to come loose! If anyone else has more information, we would be curious too!!

The technique is easier to see on this Taiga piece. The place of the motif is cut out of the body, then the motif (which is a different colour of leather – this time, even screen printed) is placed in the hole, and then both of them are stitched along the edges onto a base layer for extra security over the glue.

Oh wow you are right! So much easier to see in this picture. It's always crazy to me that you can ask a number of different CA's and they will each give you a different answer. It seems like their training isn't what it used to be. Thank you for sharing!

Oh, so marquetry! Did not know LV does that. Nice.

If you check the product info page, they list marquetry as the technique. I pretty much go by the product info, over what any CA says.

I like the floral design and that its on black. Thanks for sharing the detail and how the flower are "printed" on the bag .

Is this floral design available on the speedy? Cannot seem to find it online.
I thought the speedy only came in the pumpkin and faces. I got the face speedy 25 coz I was enthralled with the pop up sunny face and colourful visual of this "eternal soul" art collection

I think it depends on which country you’re in. You can find it online on the US website. Someone else here, from Singapore, said it wasn’t on their country’s website, but was available to buy if you inquired with a CA.

Best thing to do is use the EU LV site. Write down the product number and contact your CA to see if an item is available in your country. You can also click the “find in store” button and type in your home country. It will then tell you which stores in your country have it in-stock.

It’s an adorable piece. I almost got this one but went with the Speedy 25 because of those stupid cute faces.
I love the faces too but I couldn’t pull it off. I love the detail of the faces and they make me happy to look at. The fabric larger faces ontop of the mono really complete the bag for me too. I’m hoping I see someone wearing it out soon
