Yes - I did realize that you were talking about a MC, I just had never really looked closely at one before and had NO idea that they decided to put pockets on them. Geez Louise! What a bad idea!! :nogood:

As long as you shop enugh it dosn't matter. And it's not that many people working there, so if you are a good customer you kind of get to know everyone. Iv been shopping there since the opening, and maybe the last 2 years I'v been kind of VIP... But norway is so small so they don't have the same VIP system like in the US...

hahah i know what you mean!!! but sometimes, not me but one of my best friends in england they manage to have the whole close store so that they can go shopping, with me... well from what i could say... they spend tonnes at LV, buy a lot of pret a porter, slgs, etc..... and yeah they get invites and what not... so i guess you just have to spend tonnes of $$$ and have a good relationship with not one but about five SAs.... LOL

i never knew you could close a whole store if you had that much power... i had felt really bad when i said i wanna do some shopping at LV, and then they tell the manager to close the whole fricking store.... i would be very happy if we got the VIP room, not alone the whole store.... by the time we got out there was a whole line of people waiting to get in... giving us evils...

I've come across this thread, and just have to chime in. Whenever i'm in an LV store (there's just one here i'm from), i always get polite, warm service from the SAs. Not that i've been plunking down cashola on a lot of things, just the odd SLGs, a Macassar Bass MM and random city guides. I'm mostly there when i get pre-owned (or gift) items heatstamped with my initials. I'm no VIC (or at least i don't know it yet) but i always get offered iced tea, the odd catalog, and callbacks for new items. No party invites/birthday cards yet, though. So like what a lot of people have said, it's really your relationship with the SA. It doesn't hurt of course to dress nice and sharp. There's a marked difference in treatment. :-)

NO,i don't think i have good relationship with sa...there are 6 or 7 in my city, i always shops in different stores...it's hard to find a good sa....actually i have never met one....i hope i will have good luck to meet one soon...

I don't think there's any method to it. I've bought 5-6 bags in a 2 month period at times plus all of my regular purchases etc... and usually from the same SA or someone who knows me, and never gotten anything.

Twice I've gone shopping while on vacation and both of those SA's sent me thank you cards in the mail....my SA's never send cards.

I rarely receive even the catalogs, and there are a lot of people who get catalogs regularly who have only made one or two purchases.

As far as VIP gifts, no way..I never get anything. But I have seen posts and reveals here from people who were given VIP gifts at the time of their first LV purchase!
