I just recently started getting gifts after how many years of buying lol. But my store has gone through a LOT of SAs over the years and my current one said that she really appreciates my mom's and my loyalty to the store. I think that's why we've been getting the gifts.
I think it's just your relationship with the SAs and the Manager. Perhaps mainly loyalty to the store. After all they have a purchase history in their database.

Well the SAs have their titles on their business cards. My SA's says "store manager."
And Luva Pug, I only have the glass trunk paperweight and the Le Pateki puzzle game. I have them pictured in the "vip gift club" thread in the Clubs forum.
I agree...I've never received a thank you note or gift; however, whenever there is a new LE piece she let's me know and allows me to purchase it WITHOUT waitlisting. That to me is a 'thank you' in itself...

I've been sent invitations and received calls for pre-launch dinners for the past 2 years but I never go. Any freebies during these events?
So, how to become a VIP member if you mostly purchase your item from elux?
Can you still get all that invitation thing if you're Elux VIP?

I am not a VIP or VIC in LV, but i get calls/e-mails when new bags/collections have arrived or are available for viewing/sale.
I guess networking,contacts and good relations with LV people counts rather than having such status.

i read somewhere that the ones that got invited in the opening of the champs-elysées were the ones who have spent $200,000 in the last two years. i may be wrong though.
Ah seriously? So you think it's okay to build good relationship with the SA in one particular store eventhough you don't buy it from there? (say buy it from Elux). Isn't it the same though, you still buy an LV product?
As to my understanding, Elux are authorized resellers of LV but not a part of LV. So you my be a VIP at elux as you buy lots of products from them but not necessarily from LV as its customer records are different from elux.
