I prepared myself, I psyched myself to buy before this day would come and I did. I am satisfied (for now) and will never say I don't mind it. I think we'll all just be "dealing and coping" with it since we won't stop buying LV. We never will IMO!

Well I was being told by the LV staff in Singapore.

I bought a monogram Biz cardholder 3years ago cost me SGD$180. Now it has boom up to SGD$280.

Jus bought a Josephine PM that cost me SGD$1500.

I wld say the euro currency has been strong. No harm having more knowledge on products we are buying. Y not chk out wif the LV sales staff in ur country.

I think it's not just because of the Euro/Dollar exchange rate. I think they take inflation into account. I mean if people get raises every year then the cost of the bag increases because of the increase in labor cost. It is about a 2-3% raise which is what the inflation rate is at right now, at least for the States.

rrr I was mad that the prices went up too!! The DAY they went up happened to be the day I ordered my Lodge PM....I was shocked it went up! I didn't know they did that...like they don't make enough money already lol...o well I still love LV!

Thanks for getting back to me. I had a feeling it was the new price. He actually had them hunting this bag down. They did not have it in their store. THey had one shipped from LV in CA. So technically he bought the bag before the price increase. It stinks that they charged him the higher price. I know it's not a lot of $$$, it's just the principle ..... oh, well, I love the bag. :love: That's what counts.
