i got a question for you gals. i just checked the price on vuitton.com. speedy 30 in MC is 1200 euro. but i think they sell it for 1220 in italy. i thought the price of LV is uniform over europe, no? anyone knows?

No, unfortunately, it depends on what country you are in (even in the Euro zone)

For example, cheapest is France, with Ireland between 5 - 10% more expensive.

Ireland, however, is still cheaper than the UK, even allowing for the currency exchange.

This is what I don't understand, will LV just keep increasing the prices 2x a year indefinitely or will this stop at some point. If it continues eventually a wallet will be like $2,000 and that at some point has to affect their sale.
