LV in Europe Club - chat thread

I was shown this in store today, the blue and orange ones (very tempting) and I chose the small ring agenda cover in mono instead cos i normally carry a small notebook and I like it has the press stud closure. As long as you like it and will use it as an essential item then get it. What else have you got beside that?

I'm mostly looking for just a card wallet, since I have an aspinal of london ID card which i have used to death for years so im looking to upgrade it
I 'have' my empreinte key pouch which has a zip compartment at the back for coins and notes, so i was hoping to get a card wallet separately for my bank + ID cards (since i dont want to put them with my keys incase my whole identity is stolen lol).
So I had a look at the rosalie wallet which is really compact, but the coin compartment will just be redundant if i use my key pouch, but i was willing to look past and keep a couple of coins. But when I saw the rosalie in DA + RB in person I was really underwhelmed- the DA looked a bit yellow which i know can happen as the white print starts to cream over time but yeh really didn't look great plus the leather button i know will just get shredded after a while!
So the mens pocket organizer i thought was the best option, as its compact and just does the job holding plenty of cards. However, I know they always come out with limited edition prints (they used to have a galaxy one which i absolutely adore, but no longer make) so i dont know if i should wait around til something different comes out or get the mono+macassar since it is classic and beautiful.

I think you should go with the Macassar PO, it is SO classic! The perfect everyday SLG. Also because the fold is leather hopefully it will not crack over time AND you can alway treat yourself to another pocket organiser if you enjoy this one when they come out with a collection that you like again

Really enjoyed reading your shopping experience and sharing with us here. It’s a very beautiful and nice size PO, you will enjoy using it so keep it. I too was almost tempted yesterday but I have recently bought some similar slg and it would be excessive to have anymore. In fact the SA who served me that I have already reached the max limit now however he said as long as I used them for personal use, I can still get more probably only in store and not online. Yeah, heading to ban island and no more for now.....until next month. I was told the new collection will be available around early July. I am quite keen on that camera bag crossbody in epi leather burgundy. I hope it will not be too expensive and if in other colors too. I too prefer the men collection in card holders than the women’s especially the coin card holder in orange or blue. It’s a good size for grab and go, has a zipper for coins, slots for cards and notes. Thankfully they didn’t have any in stock otherwise I probably would have got it too. OMGosh...I’m rambling on like you too...sorry!

I wasn‘t around much lately. But I am happy how this EU thread turned out! Great little community- that‘s what we all hoped for when I opened this thread!

Some of you know that I was planning to cheat on LV with Chanel and I finally did. (Sorry LV!)
So I know this is an LV thread and I hope I won‘t get banned for posting this here- but many of you are into both brands anyway so here it is! Welcome to the family Miss Coco Handle ! I brought out some of my LVs to keep her company

I am super happy and I feel content right now. Which hasn‘t happened before. Which hasn‘t happened since I started buying those crazy expensive bags. Don‘t get me wrong: I will keep buying for sure!

But I deleted my wishlist and unsubscribed from many youtube channels. I deleted the short cuts to the LV/Chanel homepages but not the one for the purseforum!!! I‘ll definitely stick around you awesome girls!

I am at purse peace at the moment. I plan to have fun with what I have and don‘t buy any bag for the next 6 months (SLGs and accessories excluded)
I am back to saving up and will not purchase a bag until next year (or at least wait for Christmas).

oh and yes yes yes! I feel like I tried all the bags in the store and the Coco Handle definitely won! I recommend it! (But I can’t really think of one I didn’t like... so there will be more Chanel for me!)

Hey lovelies so I spoke to CS and wow did she get angry! As soon as I gave her my order number her tone changed and she started shouting that she could see on my account I’d already returned one, now I want to return another one, clearly I’m not satisfied with any so I can try placing a third order but the system might cancel it, there’s nothing she can do. And she asked why were no photos sent of the first bag with issues, I told her the person I spoke to didn’t ask for any he just told me to return the bag! And she said “but how do we know you didn’t damage it?” I said that I didn’t unstitch the flap to stitch it badly and cause rippling and I didn’t stitch the d-rings unevenly it was obviously badly made!!!

She just ended by saying I should probably send photos of the strap to show the bubbles and return this bag first before re-ordering it’s up to me but I might not get a third either way!

But I saw one available so just went ahead and ordered it, it’s status is “order in preparation” so I’m hoping that means the system has ok’d the order, otherwise it would still be “pending order validation” right?

Honestly I was in two minds about re-ordering anything, she’s really put me off wanting anything from LV just so I don’t have to deal with them!!

Hopefully the strap at least on this new one is better (IF the order isn’t cancelled!)

I was told to take pics of my faults from the first wallet. I had a lovely CS who was most helpful, sent me a new returns label and followed up with phone calls and emails.

sorry you had a bad experience, don't let it put you off- you are spending a ridiculous amount of money so it should be perfect and up to your standards! i've always had a nice CS on the calls, so you must have had an off one. Well your new order is in prep so that's great!! I think if after your 3rd it's still no good then go to a store... i have a feeling online they just resell the ones other people have returned and the cycle goes on....

Im not buying LV for the rest of this year, maybe a new pm mono because i miss my old one that i sold, but i will keep saving for chanel, also as a "investment". The classics are way too expensive now and even if i had the money i would never buy it. I bought a preloved in super good condition with a double flap, i like a single flap too but the ones that i saw lost their shape a bit so i went for the double. I would love to own a maxi with a single flap in caviar gold hw in the future though. I will post pictures when i come back home from my mini break. Chanel is a expensive hobby

Me too. No more LV bags this year. I really hope I wont‘t get tempted by another price increase or anything like the Christmas collection... but SLGs are allowed, right?!
Congrats on finding a good one preloved! I tried the Jumbo in the store and it is a stunning bag- only the price is in no way justified
Last time I went to LV, picking up my repaired NeoNoe (all good by the way! ) I looked at the wave collection with the chains- because I like the pink leather with aged ghw. It’s pretty Chanel-esque...but somehow childish with the rainbow colors and the waved bottom. I only liked the new wave chain tote! But that costs 2150€ and honestly.. I‘d rather get a Chanel WOC for the money or save a little longer and buy fullsize Chanel bag.
So I believe that I will stick to Chanel when it comes to leather bags!
