Random question but does anyone own any of the monogram shawls? I’m thinking of getting one in the next few weeks when I can get to a store so I can try one on (or inevitably just cave and buy it online).

As much as I like the pastel ones I’d need a more classic colour for work - either black or grey. Are the pulls/wear and tear that noticeable on them when they’re on?

No, IMO the wear and tear is not that noticeable when you have it on  I own one monogram shawl and one shine shawl and I find that the shine shawl is more prone to snagging than the monogram shawl (which is completely opposite to what I had read online before purchasing them)

Hey everyone! Does anyone have any experience with wear and tear for the vernis 6 key holder? I want to get it to test the leather before I get a bag and also because I love the leather! But if it’s super delicate then I’ll have wasted £255 because I won’t be able to use it daily. Does this make sense :confused1:

@Roz2019 and @becca22 as you’re seeing SA’s in store next week, can you ask if the reverse cardholder is a permanent piece and will it be restocked online? Thx
I called LV this afternoon asking about any stocks of mini pa and reverse cardholder in boutique and CS said that they are permanent items and may have some depending any left by the afternoon of my appointment. I will ask about restocking online.

Ah that’s interesting cause I had read the opposite online. I thought the shine one was a little more in your face as well. I think I read something somewhere about being able to have the shawls repaired now as well? But I’m not totally sure on that. I’d mainly wear it as a scarf than as a proper shawl so it would be bunched up anyway.

I think a lot depends on what colour the shawl is. I have the white shine shawl and there's very little contrast in the colours on that one so it's not really as "in your face" as the darker shine shawls like brown and black  You've probably read this online as well but before buying it's important to know that snagging is garanteed at some point. If you can't stand shawls that have snags LV shawls are not for you  Wear and tear doesn't bother me since it's not really visible when wearing them, but I know it bothers a lot of people..

Hi Ladies,
I was looking at the MPA online. It’s status now is “call to purchase’. Does this mean that you can order this bag by a phone call without waitinglist?
Oh wow yes, I see that "To make a reservation or for more information call us". You can always try it! Please inform us if it works.

Tried this when I was looking for mine.

It's a glitch on the website and I was told to keep checking the website for restocks. You can try and give CS a call, but I'm pretty sure you'll be told something similar!

I feel like the restocks online have been practically non existent. I'm very frustrated with online stalking and now that the boutiques are open it's harder.
Watching the news, I'm surprised by the number of people going into central london to shop.

Not sure it will be harder with some stores open. I think for awhile it will be the opposite as most customers will still shop online.

IMO Mondays and weekends are not generally good restock days anyway!

Update from Stalking EU thread: Seems I could be wrong! According to @Roz2019 there was a long queue outside the Manchester LV store and she managed to get her htf items!

Hey everyone, so I've just returned from the LV store in london westfield.
Moral of the story- book an appointment! My appointment was at 5pm, arrived at 4.45pm and saw a queue of about ~12 people already. All the other luxury shops nearby had no queues (felt bad for gucci lol!)
I got there and wasn't sure if I should queue as I had an appointment. If you have an appointment you can skip the line, just wait near the front until someone comes out to serve you (I joined the back of the queue until someone came out to escort me into the store, I think everyone in the queue was looking at me like I had special service of sorts hahaha)

Anyway, I had a good experience. My SA wasn't pushy to sell and was honest in her opinion- she actually persuaded me to get the cheaper item so that's always a good sign of an honest SA.
They agreed to exchange my key pouch in empreinte with a new one, but the new one they brought out I wasn't completely satisfied (i guess i'm picky, plus it was made in the 19th week so I just prefer to have a fresh one which is now being delivered for me to pick up this week).
I'll be honest, I didnt ask about the HTF items as I wasn't interested in them and I didn't want to make her go to the back to find it etc (I was short on time too). @bigverne28 she said the reverse card holder is permanent as far as she knows but they didn't have any in stock.
For anyone who's interested, my SA brought out for me: rosalie coin purse in DA+RB lining, pocket organizer in mono, card holder in mono+macassar, empreinte zip coin and card pouch, victorine wallets, emilie wallets.
I saw many people walk out with orange bags. One lady was looking for an item and was told they don't have it in stock and that there was a glitch with their system which showed the item was available when it was not (not sure what it was). So all in all I think they have good stock as I would expect since they have been preparing for the stores reopening.
I hope this was useful, I am going back later this week to pick up my items so if anyone wants me to ask or lookout for anything then let me know :)

Thanks for the comprehensive update! @Roz2019 also told me the reverse cardholder is perm, so I’ll wait and buy online.

Glad you got the VIP treatment! :blah:

Post pics of the new empreinte when you get it!!!

Good to see you back!!! :hugs:

Wow! The Chanel is dreamy and so classy! She compliments the LV’s perfectly!

I think some of you cheaters will have us embarking on an affair too. Lol! I believe @Prettyingblush also purchased a Chanel bag recently.

I can’t quite get to parting with Chanel bag prices just yet, however I’ve been eyeing up a couple of SLGs to ease me in! :graucho:
oh no no not me, I cant afford chanel yet, maybe one day ;)
