Thank you for all the answers to the LV SA question!
I feel more taken seriously in LV stores when I have an appointment and my SA held back a bag for me once for an appointment (I live 2 1/2 hours away and she knows I dont want to come if theres no chance of getting what I want). I also feel the waitlist for PM reverse was offered to me because I had bought multiple items with this one SA.

Now this is a different story at CHANEL isn‘t it!?
I haven‘t been to stores often and I only bought something twice and only last time was I offered a card and contact details- which is great since I plan to buy my first bag rather sooner than later (thanks to the price increases )

BUT aren't you completely relying on what the SA shows you/brings out?! The website doesn't show even half the available items and you rely on the favor of the SA to show you. Since I only bought two SLGs I don't have a huge purchase history and I am afraid of not being shown everything, or even denied a new untouched bag from the storage and not the display item is that silly?

I think if you've got a good purchase history with LV this will put you in a favourable light in terms of scoring htf or new release items with an SA.

I'm not a big LV new items purchaser, as most of my collection is vintage pre-loved, so not too concerned with having a relationship with an SA. New pieces I've bought have been online with the help of this forum, so this is all the 'relationship' I need!

Hey girlies, do you think LV will do regular price increases every two-three months from now on? Seeing all these PA's restock makes me really tempted to buy a spare one for when mine is all worn out, which is just redundant, I know But I've also heard rumors of the PA being discontinued in the near future, does any of you know if that's true? It just doesn't make sense to me that a cult favorite would discontinue.

Go for it! I am thinking about buying items just to stow away because I don't „need“ them „now“ but certainly want to purchase anyway ... ohmy look what LV has done to us!

Hahaha yeees!!! I wanted someone to be crazy with me I even tried to justify it in my head by saying "you can always just buy it and save it as a present for your future daughter". But then again... what if I only get sons - or daughters who isn't into designer bags?
I was also thinking about buying all my want-to-get-in-the-future bags, but just couldn't justify spending so much money on such short time spand. But on the other hand if I wait some months or spread them out throughout the year I'm scared I'd get buyers remorse if the prices has gone up immensely by then. I mean.. The multi pochette has gone up by 20% since it was released months ago. That's crazy. Oh first world problems what to doo

If you use your PA on a regular basis, why not have two of them? I don’t see anything bad in it, you could use one as a pouch to organize your belongings inside your bags and the other for nights out

Exactly!!! I totally get the „too much in too short amount of time thing“ But I am so happy that I acquired 5 bags over the past half year- always before the increases! That feels good! And you can always sell as new after further price increases, if you end up not wanting something anymore This is so funny... seriously. ... I also thought I am nuts ...

PA and MP are always going to be cult favourites.

You can never have too many as they'll always hold their value. Just see it as future investment.

If you decide to sell, there will always be someone who wants them!

I bought the key pouch in mono and a Mini pochette just to store it for later in the future .

when did you purchase your item and how long did it take for you to receive your tracking information? did you also pay for overnight shipment?

i just recently bought a purse online and its taking forever

I purchased my bag on 08.05. and yesterday the status of my order was changed to "shipped". I have also received the tracking-no. yesterday but it seems that UPS did not pick up the shipment yet. I did not pay for overnight shipment.
