Hi everybody. Posting to share my experience with the bum bag. I received mine back in June (2018), and after 3 months I noticed cracking where the strap connects to the bag. I brought it in to see what they would so, and they took it back. I can’t remember if they deemed it defective or just a quality concern. I used it pretty much everyday during the summer, wearing it crossbody and on my waist. I decided not to replace opting to exchange it for the Danube PM in shadow leather.

Not sure if it’s relevant but just curious - was yours made in France or the USA?

It still surprises how accommodating LV can be. I honestly would’ve expected them to say that the cracks could occur with overuse.

This is so sad. I love my bum bag and hope this won't happen to it. :sad:

I was surprised too, although I wouldn’t say I overused it, perhaps I misspoke a bit... but I hear what your saying. I probably used it 2-3 times a week. It was made in France.

I loved mine too. I bought specifically to use in the summer, and if I got a replacement, I wouldn’t use it until next year. Not playing with those odds. My SA said if it happened again, they would still stand behind it. Nope, decided to choose a new bag.

For Christmas, I went to HI and stopped by LV. The bumbag is $1300 in HI but my SA said they NEVER get them. None of the SAs had ever seen it in person and they were swooning over mine. Someone even offered to buy it from me. No, thank you!!
Here’s some modeling pics!! I have a small waist and it does not look right on my waist. I just love her!!
