Never been a fan of belt bags, but in the past year, I've bought a couple and grown to love them. They're chic and convenient......even have the hubs wearing one crossbody! Love it on you....so do what YOU love. For myself, I have no belt bag shame! 
Think it's an adorable piece. I've been admiring this style in another brand, where the ad campaign makes it look so 70s chic. I like it best slung crossbody, as you do in the first pic, but I myself can't make that work (). Seems super practical, too. Enjoy!
