Generally, I put my phone in the back pocket. Per my CA, the bag is defective. I bought it in Oct. Yesterday, I ordered the World Tour bumbag and I hope it’s made better than this one. In the meantime, I’ve contacted all of my CAs to assist me with finding another mono bumbag. I legit love this bag and I am disappointed in the quality. I am thankful that LV always remedies quality/defect issues to my benefit.

Oh wow, after seeing this post, I checked mine. I bought mine in December and I have barely used it but there are cracks on 4 corners where the zipper is. I never would've thought to look there. Haven't even used that back zipper either!
Did your CA only deem it defective after you sent pics? Or did she say it was defective based on your purchase date? I'm worried if I bring this in that the CA might actually laugh it off thinking it's miniscule. My first canvas issue
I barely use that back pocket. It takes up too much space from the bag. The cracks aren’t from wear, it’s definitely a poor design.
I’m kind of dreading taking mine in too I don’t think I’ll have a problem, but some stores are easier to work with. I’ll update when I do take mine in. Let us know what happens if you take yours in.

My CA didn’t ask when I purchased it. I sent her pics and she said it’s defective. Keep in mind, the bumbag was released early 2018 (I think) so the purchase date is moot.
Interesting read as I asked about this bumbag today in one of the London stores and they told me they had stopped selling this bag - I wonder if it’s because of all of these cracking issues?
I’m picking up my replacement now. My CA got one in today. My defective one is on the right (MIF), replacement on the left (MIS). The canvas on the replacement one is thicker and feels more sturdy. Ecstatic!!
Wow that was fast! I contacted client services earlier. First I asked if there were any known defects with this particular bumbag and she said no. Then she told me it was unavailable and sold out so I wouldn't be able to replace it. Ah you really lucked out with in-store delivery! Mine was Made in France but I'm really thinking I'll have a slim chance of scoring a new bumbag, let alone a Made in Spain one!
But it's good to know that the MIS is a thicker canvas! I'm sulking with envy since I also love mine. I'm not sure if I should just keep it and overlook it. But now that I'm aware of it, I know for sure it'll bother me every time I use it - just knowing the cracks are there . gah~
Did you score that in one of the NY boutiques by any chance? I thought about bringing it in next week after Mother's Day. I"m back stateside but I always expect more competition for any item on this side of the Atlantic lol
Last Saturday, I bought a mono bumbag (MIF) for my mom for Mother’s Day. Today, I exchanged my defective mono bumbag for a new one. Generally, Client Services provides misinformation on item availability. Keep in mind, stores gets inventory daily except for Sunday.
When I chatted with my CA earlier today, she said that she would reach out to the supply chain manager on Monday to try to find me a new bumbag. A couple hours later, she text me that she had one and it came in today’s shipment. It was fate!!
No, I didn’t buy in NY. My CA mentioned that before mine came in today’s shipment there was one at LV in Vegas but she didn’t bother calling bc all of the stores were busy with normal Saturday crowds and Mother’s Day. Inventory on this bag is still very limited. Hope you can find a replacement.
