If you're right, then I have a problem. I love their products and have had some for years. But, if know that's how they "grow" after a few wears, then I'm done with LV...

I'm used to baby my bags, maybe this one is more fragile than others but I"m very frustrated for now...

Based on the pics, I would agree it looks life scuff marks from usage. Its almost impossible to carry a purse and not knock it against something, especially leather such as the trim on the Alma. Glazing issues would be a defect. Hopefully they will resolve to your satisfaction.

Life happens, and those marks look like normal wear and tear---possible even after using just once--I've never had luck with smooth leather on any designer bag for that matter.

Because the bottom is constructed from soft, smooth leather, it's more prone to wear and tear. When I was shopping for Chanel, I chose caviar over lambskin for that reason. The lambskin is soft, smooth and decadent, but even grazing it with your nails can leave a mark.

Good to know about the smooth leather, never had any problem with epi speedy or brea. I'm definitely returning the blueberry and will see what CS says ....

Hope they do something.

I too have an Alma pm in fuchsia. As I'm not used to the hard stiff shape, it encounters more 'bonking'. I have found white marks which came off with a baby wipe. Prob from brushing against chair molding gloss trim paint in my house on the way out.

Sorry, I agree with the others. Those look like normal wear and tear marks to me. Because the base is wide and hard it will get bumped into things without you even realizing.

Have you experienced quality issues lately ?

I've bought the alma bb in antracite nacre in the end of february and wore it probably 5/6 times. I noticed today that it had some scatches and glazing problem. So I went to the store. The SA tried, at first, to tell me it was normal wear and tears. I argued, the bag is new and, for the price, this was not an aswer and she finally took it to send to expertise.

Have you had this issue before ? maybe with the alma bb ? What did CS do ? I hope they will at least fix the bag (the store manager talked about replacing the bottom of the bag). At that point I'd prefer store credit. I bought it in blueberry last week, haven't have a chance to wear it yet. I am thinking of returning it, I'm too afraid of another problem.
Those are normal wear and tear on the antracite. Because it has like a metallic coating it does wear off just like other metallic coating leather bags. Metallic coating bags/slgs are very nice but they a delicate. Whereas normal epi leather are much more safer unless it's scratches against harsh surfaces like a wall or brick.
