Me too, I feel very sorry for his family, it might be difficult for a woman to raise a child on her own with an absent husband most of the time. Have to deal with all the media intrusion in their personal life. I wish to them all the best.
I read somewhere that Johnny and his family live in Kent or Surrey, I can't remember which (I have no idea if it's true or not)... Anyway near London, so I imagine that, at least when the King is in London, he can go home.

The trouble is that Rishi Sunak doesn't walk slowly - he goes around at 100 miles an hour. If he slows down when he goes to the Palace we will have Jonny on the screen for longer.
So funny that it’s gotten to a point where we can have a discussion or an “analysis” as to when and how might we get a MJT Sighting based on what’s happening in the news!

I would love to know how long a working day for an Equerry is. I can't imagine that they have a late start but I also imagine that there are plenty of functions that require extra long days and late hours. I read somewhere a while back that the Victorian equerries were on duty for a few months at a time and they were expected to be at the disposal of the Royal on an "on-call, 24/7" basis, then on leave for a month or two. That doesn't seem to be the case now, but who really knows.

I'm also super curious about how long it takes, from start to finish, to dress in the regimentals. I counted 20 +/- components to that uniform but that's just me guessing...

Wouldn't it be fascinating for someone to do a "Day in the Life of the King's Equerry"? Seems like it would be easy to keep it confined to only the job to maintain privacy. Imagine the viewership!

I found these videos where HMTQ's former Equerry, Lt. Col TA speaks about his life as an Equerry.
