So nice to see Jonny looking satisfied in the Senate and standing proud behind the King.

And the Queen and Brigitte launching a Literary Prize. It's all go!

That was during then Prince Charles’s visit to Rwanda in 2022 for the Commonwealth Heads of State Meeting. They were visiting a memorial to the victims of the Rwandan genocide of 1994. This was from the same visit.

He seems to ride in the same car if the Queen isn’t with them. I don’t know if I’m reading into this a bit, but it really seems that the King relies on him as a trusted family member almost. They’ve been through a lot together - Covid lockdown, the death of the late Queen Elizabeth - and sometimes one’s companions in adversity become very close to one’s heart.

I have begun to think the same. Watching how they interact, there seems to be a connection that goes beyond the typical "business" relationship between King and Equerry. Lots of knowing glances, smiles and laughing. They seem to feel very comfortable working together. The Lonach gathering is one example. I have seen times when the King looks at Jonny it seems as if for reassurance. Sweet and touching. It brings a new lightness and energy to things

I’ve noticed this as well. I cannot remember any other Equerry working like this and Jonny’s role seems to be changing. He is often seen walking beside The King and seems control what goes on in the background which I never noticed a year ago. But is it because of his uniform he stands out I don’t know but hope he keeps up the good work for a long time. What would The King do without him
