There are two LV’s on Maui. One in Kaanapalli(spelling[emoji848]) in whalers village (never been impressed with selection there, it’s in a really busy area), and on the other end of Maui in Wailea (shops of Wailea, which is where I’ve bought my past two trips there). So, they are being hit like we are with not much canvas. It’s hit or miss. I went in this past August hoping it would be like the previous summer and they would have so much stock. Nope. Just like here, they (being LV, not the sales asst’s) are trying to force people to buy the leather bags and quite a few of those, but canvas was very selective. I don’t know what part of the island you’ll be staying on, but we were in Wailea and I just went in daily to check. They do get shipments quite often, but not a lot at one time. I’ve never had a bad experience in either store, but they can be extremely busy at times, so just be prepared to wait. I hope they have what you want. I’d make a list of the bags you may be interested in just in case they don’t have the Sienna or Turenne. FYI, summer before last is when I got my Turenne PM there and I love that bag[emoji6]. Enjoy Maui!!! It’s one of my favorite places[emoji177][emoji177]. And as far as being better to buy there, it’s 8-10% cheaper and sales tax is 4.16 (something like that). I know it’s cheaper for me to buy there vs. Texas.

You can call ahead and they can try and get in the bag you want before you arrive! Gospel at the Whalers was Awesome!! Maui is a dream...

I believe you have to be in their Hawaiian system in order to do phone order. Meaning you have to had purchased from an Hawaiian LV store before in order for them to send stuff to you.

I was at both stores last November. Maybe I’m spoiled, but to me both stores are small and selection was limited. Oahu stores are much bigger with a lot more selection. If you don’t find what you want in Maui, I would ask the SA there to try to find it in Oahu stores and ship it to your hotel (provided that you are in Maui more than 3,4 days).

We are going to be in Honolulu in a few weeks for break. Does the LV stores there have more of an availability and selection? I am thinking or hoping they might just have the speedy b25 or other crossbody type bags. I carry my Favorite MM quite often but I need something just a little larger but not too large for crossbody. Any suggestions or thoughts?

The Hawaii stores are well stocked in my opinion. The store downtown is very large. You can always call ahead! I'm sure you know the prices are slightly lower there than in the mainland US. Have fun!

I guess it depends on what you are comparing it to. More of an availability and selection compared to what? I have only had bad luck in both Honolulu and on Maui.

I should have said compared to the mainland US stores. I have found in the last year or so the most LV stores have limited stock. NYC, Vegas and a few other large cities that I visited didn’t actually have an abundance of selection. I like to look and feel and try and th more selection the better. Sorry you haven’t had luck in Hawaii.

If you have a bag in mind, I would call ahead to reserve and make sure they have it on hand so you don’t have waste your time chasing bags. But if shopping is your number one hobby, then I would def visit both as I found both carry different things. Locals tend to go to the one in the mall more and stay away from Waikiki store (can’t blame them). I found couple runway pieces at Waikiki store that wasn’t available at the mall so I was glad I went to both stores.

I recently bought a speedy b 25 in DE in Oahu! The location by the beach (Kalakaua) not the one in the mall. great customer service there, I would advise you to see Sally or Karen. I also have a favorite PM. I love both and love the favorite for just a night out l. I believe they are well stocked and they have 3 locations there. I was looking for a pochette accessoires, which is sold out everywhere, and they had one at th Hilton location. The SA Are very nice and willing to check other locations, and you can’t beat the lower prices in Hawaii have fun!

They did introduced Tahitienne series for Hawaii earlier last year but both keepall and pouchette had long been sold out. They did had neverfulls left when i was there last November. Not sure any left by now. Call ahead if you want one of these limited edition neverfull. There are special Hawaiian stamps for luggage tags so bring your luggage tags or leather wallets to get stamped for free as the most economical way to get a souvenir.
