Lucky!! [emoji7]Thank you so much! Hopefully i can find one Already so excited for it!
I just returned from Hawaii this week. I visited both stores in Oahu and both stores in Maui. I actually found the stock in Maui much better this trip. Oahu was out of everything on my wish list. I did purchase from Wailea a speed B 25 in mono made in France, it was $1290. I did not have to pay tax since my home state doesn’t have a boutique. They also had a speedy B 30 mono made in France. I also purchased Palm Springs Mini mono made in Spain, they had two in stock. Whalers village also had two Palm Springs minis, one mono and one reverse. I also purchased toiletries 15 and mini Pochette both made in France. I also saw a toiletries 19, Favorite PM and MM made in France. They brought out many things when I asked. Ask for Eileen at Wailea she’s the best!

How did you manage to not have to pay tax if the state you're buying in has sales tax? Did you have it shipped to your home state, or did you have to prove you lived there? (I'm wondering if it's worth while for me to have my Vuitton purchases shipped from Hawaii to Oregon if that's the case!)

They shipped all of my purchases to my home for a flat charge of $15. It was sent UPS second day air. I let her know when I would be returning. If you want to take the items with you then you must pay the local tax which is about 4%. Hope that helps. If the address that is shipped to is one that qualifies for no tax than no sales tax is charged.

Super helpful, thanks!

Thanks for this advice. I hope they can sell me some luggage tags to stamp.
I am also looking for some items that are specific to HAWAII. Does anyone have a phone number to a helpful SA That would answer my questions over the phone? Thx!

I just got from Maui a few days ago...all of their stores were sold out of all the Hawaiian exclusives. They said that all the lv stores across Hawaii were sold out...

What are the Hawaiian exclusive items usually? I always thought it was just the regional heat stamp; is there something else I should be looking for in the future?

I'm going to Hawaii this June! *YAY*

How's the Louis Vuitton store in Waikiki? And is it true that LV is cheaper there than the mainland?

Yes, it's about 5% cheaper than in the mainland. Plus the tax is lower around 4% or so. There are three locations in Waikiki I think. I like the location at Hilton Hawaiian Village best, personally. Try to buy a luggage tag with the exclusive Hawaii stamp!

Have a great time!!
