Wow...at $3500 retail, it's already cheaper! If I bought in Texas, I'd be paying $3850 plus 8.25% tax!

We've been visiting Kauai once a year for the last few years. 2 years ago we spent few days in Maui. When we visit again in a few months, we would like to check out another island. Now that I'm aware of LV pricing, the location of a LV store will dictate where we end up lol.

Thank you for your response!
I'm not exactly sure what the price is now for the city steamer but I can find out for you. Did you love Kauai? That was where I was born and raised but now I live in Honolulu, HI. I travel there at least once every two months to still visit family. LMK what island you are going so I can let my SA's help you out.

hi all!! I'm going to Hawaii in approximately 2 weeks and there's a few pieces I wanted to get; can anyone please dm me there recommended Sa? ❤❤❤
Which island and what are you looking for specifically? My store at the LV Ala Moana still has the speedy 30 in Tahitiene line and Hawaii exclusive never full mm in stock (fyi)

Hi Lvoers!
I'm an Aussie gal hopping over to Hawaii shortly and wondered if LV pricing in Hawaii is cheaper than US mainland? I was thinking of picking up a Speedy B30 .They retail for AUD $1,770 here and so I'm wondering if it's cheaper over there or here at home? On mainland US pricing converted it isnt cheaper but I have no idea about whether I still would pay US duties and taxes as a tourist...hoping someone can help me out?
TIA!!! X
Aloha! I actually work 2 blocks away from the LV here in Waikiki. I stop by this LV to check out new items often and the SAʻs have always let me know that it is cheaper to purchase here! Itʻs 10% cheaper in fact. Not only this, but Hawaii has the special hibiscus hotstamping, and its likely to be much cheaper than buying one in AU. PLUS you get your tax back using VAT since you are a tourist! Also, I believe that the Duty Free shopping (DFS) right across the street has the "duty free" level on the third floor for tourists and tax isnʻt charged there

Omg thank you!!! I am in Hawaii right now and just dropped into the Ala Moana store. They didnt have the 30 in a bandoliere I'm after so it looks like a trip downtown to Waikiki is in order!! It also turns out hubby and I can pool our duty free limit and it will be $1,800 aud instead of $900 each X

Cool! I live on the west side of the island but I am stopping by Ala Moana this evening to check out some items. Then we are having a staycation in Waikiki so I can go there and check it out since the hotel is right across.

I am so jealous. We have travelled quite a bit but Kauai is our favorite! The views, weather, people....everything is amazing. I will def. reach out to you right before we go there next time. :)

And yes, please do let me know the price of City Steamer MM there so I can plan ahead lol.

Hi everyone...this seems like the most current LV Hawaii pricing forum. I just purchased the PM Turenne on Ebay and the seller gave me a photocopy of the receipt. Online the price is $1500 plus tax but this receipt says the price is $1370 plus tax...is that correct? I had no idea Louis Vuitton was cheaper in Hawaii...I just want to make sure the bag is authentic. Thanks in advance!

Yes, pricing in Hawaii is about 8-10% cheaper. Also, the sales tax is about 4.16-4.25%. I’ve bought two bags there the past two years on vacation in Maui.

Thank god I found the right place to ask:yahoo:
I’m planning to visit maui on this Apr and hoping to score PM siena or turenne:graucho:
I google the store location but can’t find one in maui:eek:If there is a store in Maui do they have lots in stock? Also,is it really better for me to buy LV in Hawaii? I live in CA and the tax is so high:crybaby: Thanks in advance:tup:

There are two LV’s on Maui. One in Kaanapalli(spelling[emoji848]) in whalers village (never been impressed with selection there, it’s in a really busy area), and on the other end of Maui in Wailea (shops of Wailea, which is where I’ve bought my past two trips there). So, they are being hit like we are with not much canvas. It’s hit or miss. I went in this past August hoping it would be like the previous summer and they would have so much stock. Nope. Just like here, they (being LV, not the sales asst’s) are trying to force people to buy the leather bags and quite a few of those, but canvas was very selective. I don’t know what part of the island you’ll be staying on, but we were in Wailea and I just went in daily to check. They do get shipments quite often, but not a lot at one time. I’ve never had a bad experience in either store, but they can be extremely busy at times, so just be prepared to wait. I hope they have what you want. I’d make a list of the bags you may be interested in just in case they don’t have the Sienna or Turenne. FYI, summer before last is when I got my Turenne PM there and I love that bag[emoji6]. Enjoy Maui!!! It’s one of my favorite places[emoji177][emoji177]. And as far as being better to buy there, it’s 8-10% cheaper and sales tax is 4.16 (something like that). I know it’s cheaper for me to buy there vs. Texas.
