Hi, I need some help pls. A friend of mine bought a new OTG Noir GM preloved. Bag looks great, Chip data is correct but she can’t find the label „made in USA“. Can maybe someone tell me where it should be or can taken a picture of it? Thank you :flowers:

I ordered a side trunk online, tried it on and didn’t care for it, and sent it back less than a week later. Instead of returned, my item status showed as cancelled so I called and only then was told it had been shipped back to me because they rejected the return due to hardware scratches. The photo they sent does in fact show scratches on the strap D-rings, but they weren’t caused by me. I’ll be curious what scratches, if any, are on the bag hardware. They said there were none. I didn’t take photos of the bag when I received it. I’m now stuck with a bag I don’t like nor want due to damage that I didn’t cause. No contact from them to address it, I had to reach out. Definitely will be my last LV purchase. I expect better customer service from a “luxury” brand.

Not sure if this helps, Sartorial Phil on Instagram/YouTube took apart the straps of his ss22 Mini Soft trunk at this link
Hi Guys! I’m a member since 2017 but I can’t find my post . Anyway, just curious if anyone has ever tried taking apart the hardware of their lv piece specifically the magnetic plaque on a district messenger? I see a couple of allen key type nuts on the back of the magnetic clip and thought to myself, is this removable? Search everywhere online even YouTube but can’t find any info on it. The reason I’m asking is because I thought of DIY’ing a spray paint job on the brass plaque as mine’s looking kind of dull. Cheers

Hi Everyone, Does anyone know if the LV Mini Dauphine had a few upgrades and or changes since 2019? I own a 2019 Mini Dauphine it is the only pre-loved LV I have ever purchased. I am pretty confident it is authentic, but I guess you truly never know unless you purchase in store. I purchased mine from Rebag and then had it Authenticated through Entrupy. The discrepancies I'm seeing are in the D-rings. The new version looks like they added a notch to the D-rings, where the straps clips in. I'm thinking this is just an upgrade because most of the ones I see online do not have this. On the LV website the photos they show vary with the clip that hold the D-ring. Some have a clip that covers the leather completely and some have a little leather sticking out. Which is sooooo weird to me to have that on the actual LV website, but reassuring that there are version that vary. I will leave a link below incase anyone once to check it out. I am also adding zoomed in photos.

I got the mini Dauphine in Dec 2022 and it's like the first pic: notch in the D-ring and covered leather. I think previous versions also had small stitches on the sides of the front tab (above the LV logo) but mine doesn't have this at all.

Hey all! I have a few pieces in monogram and DE, and a keepall in graphite.

I took a 3 year hiatus from purses and shopping and haven’t been up to date with LV UNTIL i discovered Damier Azur is going away slowly but surely!

Should i get a piece of Damier Azur before it’s gone or am I just feeling FOMO? I did always want a piece in DA, but now feel my selection is limited and am not the biggest fan of what’s left.

I am having the same problem right now after returning an Odeon PM I bought online. It’s warped and weird looking—even with my things in it, and it’s just not me, so it went back. I have been around and around with the Client Services advisors and their story changes every time. Finally, an advisor sent me a note apologizing, and telling me they were arranging for the local store director to reach out to me. Later the same day, someone else calls me to say I had no business requesting a store director get involved. What? I didn’t request anyone from the store store call me! That was their idea! I’m just trying to understand why they returned the bag to me since no specifics were mentioned in the accompanying letter.

She then told me they returned the bag to me because they perceived I must have used the bag since I waited until close to the 30 day return period ended. Um, no. It was the holidays and I had hoped to take it to the store to exchange, but finally gave up on the idea because we had too much happening. Besides, “perception” is not fact. I wanted to know what makes the bag unfit to sell (their accusation) because it looks now just like it looked when I first received it. (I do have photos.) Then she mentioned they took their own photos of the return that showed scratches and tarnish on the gold rings and the half inch high LV logo on the luggage tag. I said, “You mean the completely unprotected hardware on a bag that’s been handled by how many people in your department?” When I received the bag, the luggage tag was buckled incorrectly, so the buckle was facing into the canvas (a good way to potentially damage the canvas) and the tag bulged out at a weird angle. I did take the tag off and put the buckle to the front, but scratch it? No way.

Regardless, I can’t see tarnish or scratches on the metal, and since it sat in the box here except for the couple times I tried it on, I don’t see how it could have tarnished in 30 days (I have other Empriente bags that I owned for years and they did not tarnish! Since I can’t see tarnish, did it mysteriously disappear while in transit back to me? I asked her to forward the photos and she refused! What is going on with these folks in New Jersey? It seems like the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing.

And this “scratched hardware” story is just that—a story. But, not sending me photos is unhelpful—especially since they sent them to you! Very frustrating, and given your similar experience, I’m more determined not to drop this. Attempting to intimidate customers and suggesting we’re liars is horrible service.
