Thanks! It is good you find it easy to mix with metals. When do you find yourself wearing the ring?
I lead a fairly casual lifestyle so I definitely wear this ring for day to day activities like lunch, shopping, and even to some sporting events. I've also worn it wine tasting, for nicer dinner in the evening, concerts, and for holidays etc. I think it would be very easy to dress up if you wanted to use it in a more formal capacity. I probably use it on average once every week or two.

Thanks! Great you hear you can wear to so many events. I can see myself wearing at least once a week. More once covid is over.

I tried both on when I was trying to decide which one to get. Yes, picture doesn’t always tell the whole truth, the Noeud ring did not make my heart skip a beat but the lotus did. I let out a small cry when I had it on my finger even when the size was so big and the ring rolled. Now after nine months of waiting for custom making for my size, I wear it whenever I like. I don’t have to justify to anyone whether there is an occasion for wearing it. What’s important is that I am happy whenever I looked down on my finger. I know I made a right choice but if Noeud ring does that for you, you should definitely get it. Wish you good luck on selecting the most beautiful ring for you!

Thanks for your thoughts. I was hoping that trying on both at the same time would make it clear but I love both and could not decide which I loved more. My husband loves both too...even my daughter loved both. Though she wanted me to pick the mystery butterfly ring. Haha. They are both beautiful and I feel both look beautiful on my hands.

Then you have to get both. Just which one you get first. Since the price increase is imminent, probably get the most expensive one. Lol:biggrin::biggrin:

Haha! Ugh I think it is going in this direction. They are about the same price, the noeud is 1k pound cheaper.
My other thought was do I try to get older style lotus in resale market and buy noeud from store since I slightly prefer the prior lotus design. But I am not sure I am cut out for resale and with a ring I need a specific size so limits availability.

I feel for you. But the sizing of the Lotus ring is so difficult I would go the boutique route to make sure have the correct sizing. Even though before I thought I liked the older style more, but in real life, there are hardly any difference between both. i liked the new leafs position better. It flows better if that make sense. Hope you get your wish and get both beautiful rings

What do you like about the new style? The new is gorgeous too so I would be happy with either.
I have tried both old and new so I actually know my size for both.

The stem on the new ring where the leaves attach flows while the the older bamboo looks a little rigid. But then I like the old style’s center better than the new as it showed less metal. So it’s up to what you can get your hands on or if you are comfortable to get an expensive ring on a second hand market. Good luck!

Aww thanks R!
I love both rings. I was set on the lotus until I tried the noeud and then loved it too. Now I am confused which to get since I can not justify 2 statement rings.
I feel the lotus is a piece I would have forever but I am not sure how often I can wear it since it feels very formal. I also have no wg pieces so I would have to buy earrings to go with. Can wear my diamond studs for now but would need something else longer term.
The noeud, while being a statement, is easier to wear now. The noeud being mixed metals will go well with my current pieces, including my 3 loves (yg,rg,wg) I wear daily. I do wonder if I can pull off a bow ring in my 60s+, so I am hesitating on the longevity of the ring.
I don’t want to buy the wrong ring at this price point!
I agree with other posters and you should get the one you love the most right now! It does seem from your comments that you are liking the Noeud just a tiny bit more, even though you do truly love both. Especially if you wouldn't have to think as much about when/how to wear it. It sounds like it will be effortless for you. It's such a stunning piece and you wear it so well. I can't wait to see what you pick! And I'm glad you're getting one of these beauties in time for the price increase.

Both rings are gorgeous! I love the Lotus ring for the ability to wear it two different ways. The Noeud is a lovely pairing of mixed metals. Between the two, I gravitate towards the Lotus more. I hope I don't offend anyone with my opinion, so I do apologize in advance. To me, the lotus looks timeless, elegant and classic. The noeud bow is very girly, feels a bit more youthful and trendy to me. Although, I've been told my taste is a bit old fashioned. BTW, Love your lapis diamond bracelet!
Maybe a pro and con list? The noeud right now can mix well with your current collection. I keep on going back to your first post and honestly, both look beautiful on your hand. I'm sorry! I'm not very helpful! Ahem... maybe you buy one and your hubby buys the other for you?
