My time slot was 9-12 this morning, arrived there at 08:20 and there were about 25 people ahead of me. They let us in starting from 08:45-50ish, and went in at about 09:10. When you go in, the first section is shoes - men’s and women’s shoes. Men’s shoes were plenty and discount rate was very good - mostly 70% I would say. Women’s shoes - my size 36-36.5 - didn’t have very obvious designs. And it was not my immediate interest, so moved on. The next big section is clothes. Discount was 50-70%, but didn’t find many interesting things on my size - UK 8. Moved on quickly to the fashion jewellery and silk section. If you are interested in fashion jewellery you may want to check this section first as it is rather small and they let 4 people in at a time. And there is a quota - 3 items pp. Some nice leather bracelets, but not click H bracelets that I wanted… had plenty of charniere(?) bracelets, though I managed to get Kelly Dog and CDC bracelets (50% off). Silk - max 2 for cashmere and 5 for twillys. Be careful: some scarves have S stamp on the scarves… I happened to pick up one of those… silks were 50% off as well. I didn’t check homewares…When I went to the till at about 10:00, there was no queue and I could just quickly pay and come out. Try to be there early and enjoy the sales!

I think problem is they didn’t enforce the slot time allocation and it gets worse progressively through the day as people who had 12.00pm slot didn’t even manage to get in till almost 2. Meanwhile those with 10.30am slot yet arrived at 1 walked straight in.
Then there was a queue to look at shoes. Some people water for as long as 40 min just to get into the shoe section. Then queue to pay was enormous and not moving at all.
It defeats the purpose of having allocated slots for crowd control and efficiency because by the time I had to rush off at around 14.30 there were HUGE queue outside the pavilion.
Time slots are supposed to be imposed to control the crowd which would allow everyone to shop efficiently but obviously whoever H outsourced the event to had no idea how to run an efficient event.
The sale in Singapore I went to a few years ago was WAY more pleasant even without this registration system.

I feared it may be like this-The only two H sales I went to were strictly Hermes clients only and were very calm with space to browse and pay.
Now I fear the database has grown enormously and I think the company organising the event have invited all those on their database too (The assistants where I work for instance who are not Hermes clients were receiving invitations for instance :annoyed:).
This would also explain the fact that though I received my invitation weeks ago I wasn't sent the link to register until last week.
Also let us not forget Covid hasn't gone away and I would expect numbers to be strictly enforced so that we dont have people breathing in our faces!
As an aside The main thing I'm interested in buying is homeware with silks and jewellery joint 2nd -where about in the layout of the space is homeware so that I can head there first?

To the left upon entry and then through the corridor located at the far corner of the room. The tills are there also. Arrive at least 30 mins before your slot especially if your slot is later in the day.

Very little homeware, some lacquer items, a few vases and desk accessaries, a chess set, some trays but no china. Some throws but no Avalon

Well I was at the sale today and the lines were horrendous - 2.5 hour wait and I had to take my son with me so not ideal. They also didn't allow babies strollers inside so I couldn't really shop properly in the end as had to carry a tired one year old. I found the organisation really bad compared to the Paris sale. They didn't enforce exit times which is why there was a backlog and crazy queues. In the end they had to provide bottles of water because the queue to pay was at least 2 hours. People were also allowed into the sale with 10 mins to go of their actual slot times so for example 12 - 3pm slot people turned up at 2:50 pm and were allowed to push in front of people. At one point people waiting in line for ages saw that and kicked off at the security as well as organising staff. I had a 1:30pm - 4:30 pm slot (I arrived at 1:15pm) and didn't get in until around 4:00pm. Place was packed with people mostly waiting to pay...scarves and shawls were not being replenished. Barely any 140 x 140 CSGM left to buy. I got a 100 x 100 cm men's shawl, 3 twillies and 2 pairs of trainers (very good prices from £700 down to £200!).

I think they should have specified no buggies/strollers in the invitation so I would have just gone later in the week when I had childcare. Anyway, for me it wasn't worth going and I was absolutely exhausted by the end of the day. I hope that Paris begins to invite UK people to their sales again because it's so much better!

I had the 9am slot this morning (last of the Hermes Client and Arliette VIP slots before opening to Arliette general entry). No cues on entry. Definitely worthwhile. IMO shoes were the best bargain at 70% off. RTW (with lots of neutrals) also 70% off - everything else @ 50%. Excellent stock levels which were replenished and staff super helpful. If you are after shoes hang a right on entry and attack this first, together fashion jewellery to the left - these will end up with the biggest queues once more enter. I waited 10 minutes to pay though appreciate this was early. Limits are shoes x6 (only 1 Oran) scarves 140cm x2 (7 scarves in total). I nabbed Orans in Citrus £153 (there are lots of bright colours, metallic, cloth and some suede and even studded black leather), Legend sandals in Rouge Tomate studded for £276, 2 x 90cm scarves in silk £177 and cashmere £75 (no tag on it so maybe an error pricing!), 2x Twillys @ £75. Overall a great experience so long as you appreciate it's a sale and not an SA led in store shop. Do expect lots of pops of summer colour. Don't expect belts, boots or much homeware. Everything else was plentiful and shoppers supportive of each other. In my opinion totally worthwhile. Enjoy!

PS. For what it's worth, if you entered on an Hermes Client slot, you can still book a 2nd visit at a later date with the Arliette general admission!

I just got back from the sale so here’s my experience.

I arrived at my 4.30pm slot and queued for at least 3 hours before we were let in. As others have said, shoes and RTW have the best selections at 70% off plus lots of neutral options.

It’s worth noting that they didn’t enforce an exit time for the evening shoppers so most of us left around 10pm. I stepped outside around 11pm after queuing for the tills.

Personally this sale was very successful for me due to an abundance of men’s stock - coats, knitwear, scarves and shoes. Staff were indeed super helpful as well.

However I’m absolutely exhausted writing this! Make sure to eat beforehand or take food with you if you attend in the evening, because the waiting times are something else.
