Wow the stories are quite amazing. I guess the organisation will hopefully improve with time and experience and we can all have a much better event to attend in future. Never having been to a sale in the UK, I can’t comment on the ones before living memory.. Was actually looking forward to possibly attending this when SA gave some early hints about it.
When I lived in SG, each boutique had their own sale stock, my SAs would put aside RTW and shoes because frankly not many other clients could fit into the remaining shoes in size 35 and RTW in 34. That’s how I got my Jumpings at 70% and I guess this is normal boutique based sales, like Chanel. One day I might take up my SA’s offer to go to the Paris one.
Back to topic, it is in a way a pity it was outsourced as one would expect professional organisers to really get it right from the start. I am totally surprised they did not have timed exits. For those who managed, congrats! Thanks for sharing your finds.

Great variety of smaller size shoes (I'm 34 / 34.5). In fact, better supply than in store

I had the 9am slot this morning (last of the Hermes Client and Arliette VIP slots before opening to Arliette general entry). No cues on entry. Definitely worthwhile. IMO shoes were the best bargain at 70% off. RTW (with lots of neutrals) also 70% off - everything else @ 50%. Excellent stock levels which were replenished and staff super helpful. If you are after shoes hang a right on entry and attack this first, together fashion jewellery to the left - these will end up with the biggest queues once more enter. I waited 10 minutes to pay though appreciate this was early. Limits are shoes x6 (only 1 Oran) scarves 140cm x2 (7 scarves in total). I nabbed Orans in Citrus £153 (there are lots of bright colours, metallic, cloth and some suede and even studded black leather), Legend sandals in Rouge Tomate studded for £276, 2 x 90cm scarves in silk £177 and cashmere £75 (no tag on it so maybe an error pricing!), 2x Twillys @ £75. Overall a great experience so long as you appreciate it's a sale and not an SA led in store shop. Do expect lots of pops of summer colour. Don't expect belts, boots or much homeware. Everything else was plentiful and shoppers supportive of each other. In my opinion totally worthwhile. Enjoy!

PS. For what it's worth, if you entered on an Hermes Client slot, you can still book a 2nd visit at a later date with the Arliette general admission!
My partner would like to go to the sale, so could he just go with general entry? Haven’t booked anything but are signed up to Arlettie now . Thanks!

I had the Hermes client slot at 8.30 but they didnt open until nearly 9.15. Another 30 min to get in and about 15min to get into the shoes. I managed to find 4 great pairs in 38 but you have to be a bit lucky as they put them out randomly and you only have 15 min to shop the shoes. I didnt look for scarves but there seemed to be a good selection and there was a queue for jewellery. To pay it only took about 15min and I left around 11. Good luck to everyone who is still going

He would still need a confirmed time slot for Arliette general entry. QR codes included in confirmation emails are scanned (and checked against ID) at entry, cashier and exit check points. If he's registered with Arliette, check if there are any slots left. Last day of sale is Saturday. Good luck!

Last time I checked no slots left. You have to check through the invitation link on your email. I think the over subscription has forced them to remove remaining slots they did have. I would keep checking just in case they release more slots over next few days.

My slot was 9:30 and in a second line. The queue to get in for second slot is quite long as we have to wait until the first slot finished at 9:30. After lined up for an hour and half I finally in to start my shopping. There are queue at shoes section and jewellery area. From my experience this morning, if your shoes size are in 38 and 37 1/2 you might be in for a bum-fight. I didn't have any luck with loafers or oran sandals today.

I’ve just been to the sale - had a 630pm slot this evening and I actually found it super well organised, really chilled and the staff were great. Super friendly and helpful. The only queues I had to wait in was about 10 mins for shoes and another 10 mins to pick up my stuff from the cloak room at the end. I feel like I went to a completely different sale from the rest of you!! I personally have zero complaints…!

No more Orans (at least for the small sizes) and they’re starting to go pretty low on shoes around size 35. Lots of silks still - and loads of ties.
