Wow, jackpot today! My blueberry puzzle bag just arrived in the mail. That is the fastest I ever received something from abroad. DHL is really hauling butt. Also only my online order came with a really pretty Sophie box.

I think I like the gift box best of all Looks so vibrant and sturdy.
 
Did anybody see or try on the embellished scarf or coat? Have been trawling for photos of those pieces and have seen the coat, shoes, and boots on insta but not the scarf.

Still waiting on shipping confirmation to Canada, getting antsy!

Just got a notification that the heen charm is back in stock on Loewe's website. Grabbed it. That's the last item on my wishlist! hoping the rest will ship soon!

Also, my Saks order shipped too! Great Thursday morning!

I've been a silent lurker here on the forum for some time, I didn't want to relive my horrible experience with the online store from last year's launch and being blocked and hung up on when I called for help.

Anyways... Had a rather weird experience... well, I didn't. My sister did.

I had gone in and pre-ordered a handful of pieces, on the higher end of the leather goods, a week ago as part of the VIC preorder. I wasn't able to make it to the store this morning to pick items up, but sent my sister instead (after obtaining approval from that store's manager). My sister went with her friend, and they were let into the store after queuing outside during the VIC only launch. However, multiple people, were allowed to skip the queue... Even though this was a VIC only event. When they went in, the SA who had been dealing with me recognized my name and gave my sister a notebook as a present for myself. But they weren't given one each, even though her friend had also made a big purchase on the spot. I found that to be quite rude tbh.

Some of the visitors were offered cookies, drinks, etc... But apparently it was only reserved for the ultra elite VIC and they were served in front of the "regular" VIC. It's situations like these, the online release, and what the people had go through in Rodeo Dr. that make me happy that this is the final collection. A bit sad to leave the Ghibli LOEWE collab with this thought.

EDIT: In addition, apparently a lot of the pieces that were on sale had faults (scratches, faded, color transfer). I can safely say that 2 of my pieces were very dusty as well.

Loewe is a dream to shop with when they're a sleepy high end leather and artsy boutique. But their service standards just fall to pieces with these collabs. When i could be finally rung up the employees said they had multiple meetings trying to plan the impending zoo but they just figured it was going to shambles anyways and gave up. *headscratcher* HMC is my favorite of the Ghibli movies so I wanted to try hard for items but I wish I had just stayed home on mytheresa and saks and saved the headaches.
 
Does anyone know how to bypass the quota system on Loewe website?

They cancelled my orders automatically because I've made 3 different orders (of 1 item because their launch was a mess at the beginning with items stocked at different time). I tried using another email / another name but it still doesn't work :(

This is so sad to hear :-( I know that the SAs were all frantic too (the one I knew at Saks was busy shepherding what felt like 10 customers at once)

Really disappointed to hear about the faults. I had to put down a downpayment on an item unseen - really hope that it's in great condition, but if there are dings and nicks, I hope that the customer service is solid enough for returns and care. Has anyone had experience with returns for faults?

Its on a case-by-case situation. You have to call them and check to see if they can unblock you.
It's also linked to your credit card, address, name, and IP address. so that's why your orders keep getting cancelled.

wow i‘m so sorry that you / your sister & her friend had this experience… it is completely understandable that this would leave a bad aftertaste. imo customers should never be made to feel like they are treated „worse“ than other customers, simply because they are spending less money. it is still a high-end luxury brand, and you are still a customer.
 
I did a deposit on a sight unseen item last night because it was a delayed arrival and they swore up and down to me it's just a deposit, you can come into the store and decide to return it when it arrives if it's not in perfect condition.

Then they ran the transaction all on one receipt with my accessories and stamped the receipt "final sale" Lol.

I immediately texted them and they verified the deposit item is not subject to final sale.

Sidebar: final sale? Why not just always shop the website and have free returns then
