Now that we are finally packed for the night (took me more than an hour as I was trying to see what will go where in our check-in and cabin luggages, haha), a quick field report on the shopping experience at Casa Loewe Tokyo. It was actually really positive. We had informed the SA that we would be back in Tokyo only around 4pm and would only be able to make it down after 530pm, and she told us to just inform the staff manning the door that we had an appointment. We managed to bypass the (short) queue and went directly to view the collection. There were a good number of puzzles but not much else in terms of large leather goods, but the SLGs were quite plentiful. RTW was decent but the signature pieces were all gone earlier in the day.
The SA was super patient with us and even helped to bring out correct sizes of the RTW we were keen on (if they were in stock), and also recommended additional leather goods to us. When she rung up our order I asked if we could have more than two paper bags and she said that she had already packed in one paper bag and hang tag for every item we bought, including those that didn’t count toward the 5-piece quota, and we also got a notebook each. So so so pleasantly surprised! (I’m still not sure if VIP status is country specific or global though). It was really a great shopping experience and at no point did we feel hurried along.
As promised, a family photo of the purchases today (minus the candle which I forgot to add to the pile), as well as the insane amount of collab packaging we received:
