You're so welcome! In terms of return, assuming you bought this item recently, don't bother engaging further with the seller. If you decide to initiate a return with eBay it doesn't matter if the seller says 'no returns', just click on the order drop down menu and request return due to the item 'doesn't match description or photos' then reiterate what you've said about the item being counterfeit. If you have a Legit Grails certificate to attach that confirms it's fake then even better. The seller will have no leg to stand on. They may still refuse your request, but after a certain number of days you can escalate to eBay and the chances of them ruling in your favour and allowing you to return for a refund are pretty much 100%.
Finally, don't worry too much. These fakes are highly convincing (I did a few back and forth takes myself on a couple of these items), but it just shows the level the counterfeiting has reached. It's easy to be fooled. Do keep us updated with how you get on and good luck![]()
Thank you again for all your advice! I just received the LegitGrails authentication and they’ve deemed it authentic, but I was afraid of this since the service is just photo-based and the wallet is quite old / limited in evidence for them to base it on, so I’m a bit unsure…
I’ll likely still send the return (since the seller didn’t disclose a scratch on the zip pill anyways), but really quite discouraged by this authentication - and from grabbing any Loewe x Ghibli stuff on the secondhand market! 😅
