So happy to see more people whose favourite movie is Howl's Moving Castle
Went a little crazy :angel:, so I might return some once they arrive. But I got the magical sky cardholder, the blue Calcifer cardholder, the orange Calcifer puzzle, the castle tote, and the black Howl/Sophie Amazona. I really wanted a diversity of scenes/characters from the movie. It’s so visually iconic!
 
the contingency planning here is horrible. do you go to the stores and try to buy one just in the event your online order gets cancelled? :sad:

Well I've been to my local store and they've told me they're not receiving any stock at all this year, and to try my luck online. Apparently only the Sydney Westfield store is getting stock. Never in the three years have I been able to pre-order. They did have a few bags and SLGs last year when I dropped by in the morning, but not much.

omg please do post lots of photos when you get them! the castle tote?!!?!
 
Does anyone here have experience with US Loewe's online/phone customer service? I accidentally put the wrong shipping state in the madness of checking out because I had separate shipping/billing addresses. Everything else on the address is correct including the zip code, and there's no street address in the wrong state that matches, but I'm still paranoid since it's such a large purchase. I've already emailed them with the update and am planning on calling tomorrow morning, but some reassurance that someone else has successfully changed a shipping address would be nice :') I found this old thread which, if still true, would be a huge bummer because the bag I ordered is now sold out

Also, thank you all sooo much for this thread, I got the date wrong and didn't think of Feb 1 being Jan 31 in the US, and wouldn't have caught anything today had I not lurked here first :love:

I think I can speak on behalf of everyone here that we need to see more photos of that bag (both sizes)!!!!!

if it gets cancelled, be sure to let the customer service know you're still interested. given the kerfuffles last year they contacted me weeks later to see if i still wanted my cancelled items when they reconciled all the remaining stock.

I remember last year I was having a field day on not getting stickers included or packaging LOL and the CS was very courteous and polite in that. With your more legitimate concern, I feel that they would be more helpful and want to make it right. Definitely try both methods of contact as you are planning on doing! And if someone on the phone isn’t helpful, I believe there would be somebody else that is will be more helpful!

Also! Did anyone get the small castle bucket? I really liked it but was ambivalent abt whether or not it was practical, and now it is sold out! Would love if someone posted pics and let me live vicariously through them!!

Oh lord, maybe I should have been super specific. I meant the Anagram castle tote! Definitely NOT the frankenstein bag, if that’s what folks are imagining(tbh, if I had infinite money, I would have added the frankenstein bag to my cart)!!
 
It took about 3 hours but I finally ordered the heen calfskin charm! Thanks for everyone who was posting previews for the past view weeks. So so helpful.

(I ordered online last year with the spirited away collection, and I didn’t have any cancellation issues; hoping it will be the same this year).

Great tip - thank you for this - but nervewrecking that it's so dependent on this late stage reconciliation exercise. I'm tempted to try my luck in stores too just to have a plan B... but that's also so expensive :-(

We can do returns, right? :-D
