I think it depends how often you use that certain bag. If it's an everyday kind of bag they recommend 2-3months but if it's a bag you don't use as often you can do like once or twice a year. That's at least what I would do and they still have looked fine. Sometimes without cleaning or applying anything I'll just buff the handles so they are shiny again.I know, that's what i thought! But i heard from somebody that they re apply it every 2 or 3 months that's why i wonder if i have to do it too! Anyway, i'll try to email Barbara, thanks for your advice!
Same here! Now i can breathe better coz i know, everytime i carry my bags I'm all good! But it took me a lot of courage & encouragement from your post im tellin yah!

Did you get the full kit with the cleanser? After your bag has been used you can clean it with the cleanser and then apply the protection and conditioner. How often you do this depends on how much you use the bag. Some people do this as often as every 3 months, others do it when they notice the bag getting dirty

I don't use anything on vachetta leather. Never have in 30 years. Be careful. I certainly wouldn't do it often. My advice actually would be to not use anything. I've never had dirt and staining except for the one time I did use something. It ruined my bag and I paid several hundred dollars to replace the leather on an almost new bag. I don't use any chemicals, cleaners or anything ever on vachetta leather.

Yes, I just applied a thin coat and then buffed it off. Came out perfect--can't even tell it's on there but it gives me peace of mind. Check YouTube, I think there are some videos that show you how to put it on.Really! so im good with just the protector, yay! BTW did try buffing it after it dries? thanks for your input!
