LMB Protection question!!! Please help!

Does anyone know if a pre treatment is needed before protecting the vachetta with LMB? What does the pre treatment really do exactly?

I have the exact same question. What does the pre-treatment do exactly?

To be honest, I bought the Kit 2 years back when I believe there wasn't the pre-treatment available yet. (Mine only came in the trio). I always put the protection + conditioner on any new bags and the colour of vachetta didn't darken or change.

So why did she suddenly introduce this pre-treatment? What does it do?? I know it says it 'prepares the leather'. But how so?

So I ran out of the sponges used to clean with the cleanser, anyone know what I can use in place of them? would the makeup sponges work?

Yes. They are basically cosmetic sponges. I treated "only" the straps on my brand new speedy b 35 with the lmb protection and conditioner. It does look slightly darker than my bag . I don't have the guts to treat the handles and the trim around my bag though
