Hey everyone,
I'm currently in Paris and have tried to register for appointments for two days now. The first day I registered for my husband(late afternoon), the second day I registered for my husband and I(around 10:40AM). However, we both got rejected:(
I wonder if it's because we have no purchased history? Anyone had a unsuccessful and then successful try with the new appointment system?
I'm planning to go to FSH tomorrow to buy some things on my wish list and will try for the third time to register for the appt.
also, FYI, when I was on the website, It stated that FSH is closed this Thursday.

I had no history but got an appointment. Unfortunately we couldn't keep it.

My Husband was in Paris & he tried making an appointment for 1st Sept and was unsuccessful. He has a purchase history in FSH.
With this new system, one is gonna need a huge dose of luck; first, to even get an appointment then to be offered a bag!

I think one reason is the inability to cancel.. I'm sure many people were simply trying this system out (guilty).. and you can't choose the time so if someone can't keep their appointment they can't cancel.

What time did he log on to request appointment? I did it at ~10:30 am and got an appt at 2 on 9/1

Perhaps, FSH can add another criterium on the form for those customers who don't have the whole day open and want to specific the time of the day for their appointment. (And of course this would decrease the chance of getting an appointment.. and there is still a chance that the actual time might be outside the initially assigned time). This way they don't waste time for both the customer and the store to cancel the appointment in case the assign time doesn't work out
I would assume there are some shoppers who might be in Paris only for couple hours of the day.

It should be like booking an airline/train ticket. You see the available slots as well as the one you've been assigned and can change. If it 'takes' it's still there and then receive email confirmation. Anyone who changes and then misses an appointment should have to wait a month before allowed again. Digitally, that's not hard to set-up.

Reading their legal notice and the appointment system, it looks like they wait until all requests are made and then they make a selection based on set criteria and number of appointments requested. I'm sure they overbook because they know not everyone can show up.

I think fixed appointments would be too much of a hassle for them. After all, they have their regular / local customers who should be able to walk in and shop without an appointment. A range would be more convenient, or a chance to decline the offered time so others could benefit.

Good evening ladies ☺️, just wondering if any of you had not or had any luck with the new appointment system? My mother is visiting me in Paris and has a long purchase history both in George V as well as FSH, however after siging up 4 times, no luck in securing an appointment. Also called the store to book my regular SA, but they said due to the new system things are so tightly booked, it was currently only possible to book an appointment online... any thoughts and experiences are welcome

As you have a regular SA and your mother has a long purchase history, it's better to email your SA directly. Calling for an appointment is always difficult. .

Evening ladies,

So my mom is visiting me in Paris. (She has a long and solid history in Hermes George V, as well as FSH. She tried making an appointment 4 days in a row, without success, after which i called and emailed Fsh to see if my regular SA would have a spot open, and they replied they currently can't make appointments in any other way than online. So. My question... what's your experience with the new system? How many tries did it take you to secure an appointment?

So your mom was told that even though she and you have a regular SA at FSH, she cannot get an appointment with the SA -- appointments are made solely through the new online system?

Just want to report my experience with the new appt system. I have purchase history in Paris and it is almost like my home story as we come here every year. I wasn't able to secure an appt. My husband doesn't have any history and we tried twice under his passport and no luck either. This new system is terrible, I rather wait in line and that way I'm sure to have an appt. I don't have any more days here to try.
