I wonder what the French police think about this situation. It also isn't aesthetically pleasing to see. Almost feels like homeless camps.
funny. When the system was invented I foresaw exactly this situation and everybody was like "naaaaaa Hermes would never allow these things to happen". And look what's now .. ha. ha. ha. The last laugh is the best.

I feel really sorry for the people who went while the craziness lasted and many wasted many half days and nights lining up in vain.

But thanks to those people we now have an online system. I travel fairly often so opted out and refused to line up in the middle of the night and will give the new online system a go in a few weeks!

So they get to apply the "so called" 2 per year quota globally? Grin!

Last time I had gotten a birkin at my home store and flew to Paris a month after and got the kelly. So I really hope the two stores don't stay connected lol!!

Lol only in H where people don't want the global recognition!

If you are already a regular at fsh, you were not affected by the line, I suspect you will not use the online system either.

Otherwise, how do you think you will get an appointment if there's no some sort of filtering system in place. Do you think the resellers will not have a way of recruiting people to sign up? What are the chances of someone being a reseller if s/he has zero purchase history? Like I've said in another post, if H wants to go the online route, they need to be ready to deal with this. If the selection of getting a spot is truly random, I suspect very soon it will be drowned out by the sheer number of "recruiters" there will be.

And if H really does a "background check" on people, well, I don't want to speculate how they will interpret your personal purchase history at this point. I don't know about you. Do you usually get whatever's being offered to you on the spot even if that's not exactly what you want? I don't like to waste my time.

I wonder if you get blacklisted after a certain number of "no shows" per passport...it would be fair to penalize those who keeps making appointments and then dont show up.

Perhaps, FSH can add another criterium on the form for those customers who don't have the whole day open and want to specific the time of the day for their appointment. (And of course this would decrease the chance of getting an appointment.. and there is still a chance that the actual time might be outside the initially assigned time). This way they don't waste time for both the customer and the store to cancel the appointment in case the assign time doesn't work out
I would assume there are some shoppers who might be in Paris only for couple hours of the day.

Hey everyone,
I'm currently in Paris and have tried to register for appointments for two days now. The first day I registered for my husband(late afternoon), the second day I registered for my husband and I(around 10:40AM). However, we both got rejected:(
I wonder if it's because we have no purchased history? Anyone had a unsuccessful and then successful try with the new appointment system?
I'm planning to go to FSH tomorrow to buy some things on my wish list and will try for the third time to register for the appt.
also, FYI, when I was on the website, It stated that FSH is closed this Thursday.

Do they allow only one person to attend the appointment or you can turn up with your spouse? If the appointment is made under my spouse's name, can I still be the one requesting for the bags and talking to the SA, or should I request them through my spouse to talk to the SA?
