I tried the online booking system around 3:30 PM Paris time. Got an SMS 7:41 -

There is no way to modify or cancel the appointment. I am not in Paris, will be in a few weeks so I'm testing to see how this system works. I'll contact them and see if I can cancel somehow, don't want to occupy a slot.

Congratulations Ladies, you are 1 step closer to getting your dream bag. May I know if either of you have any purchase history at FSH prior to this? I'm just wondering how they select the customers for appointment - is it truly random or there are actually someone looking up your purchase profile before assigning the appointments?

Thanks. I have purchase history at FSH, but I think it's all automated. They probably wait until all the requests are submitted then they determine the availability / timing.
i am very curious as well. however my passport number has since changed and i hope this won't be an issue.
I don't have a purchase history with FSH. My one previous purchase was a purchase online that was picked up at the George V store last summer. Then today I made 2 purchases at H in Saint Tropez.
Same here. I just changed my passport this year...not sure whether they can look up my previous purchase history in their system.
They can look you up by your name. SA tried to look me up on her iphone device by my passport number but was unsuccessful (because it wasn't required for my online purchases that I picked up at George V). When she entered in my name, my profile came up. She then edited my profile and put my passport number in. I saw that my old address was on there so she handed me the device to edit my address. I'm pretty sure it was be just as easy for them to change your passport number on your profile.
hmmm so that means you do actually have "history" with Hermes France. cause i think the main thing isn't so much if you have bought at FSH but if you have a profile in France with purchase history.
i'm curious to hear someone with absolutely no profile and their experience. i'm sure they can still get an appointment but i wonder if it would be harder? i guess we will be able to gauge once
this system is in place longer.
Providing the last name and passport number only is mandatory for the reservation, first name isn't required.
This was in store. Someone said previously their passport number changed and was wondering if it would be an issue when looking up their profile in store.

If they are trying to reduce sales to resellers, requiring a H-France history doesn't make sense. I assume the resellers do have a history of buying.
