Might as well be what most people have wanted ...
but it worries me...
especially when the post said you would know by the end of the day...
so whether it's first-register-first-serve (reseller's heaven) or lucky draw or looking at your profile to make a priority list (spending-driven which would make it difficult if Paris is not your home town) would be another H mystery that no one can truly solve....

Just crossing my fingers that they don't allocate slots in the form of a lucky draw...
How much luck does one need to just get an appointment and then meet a SA who's willing to help and then some more luck to have sth on your list.... um.....

But i think lucky draw is better than never getting through during those first 15 mins after registration opens probably because of all the resellers, and then when you finally get through, there's no more appointments. Just like trying to buy iphone online!

I wonder if resellers and bots will crash the system on the 31st trying to get appts for the 1st? Lucky the notice still says there is option of finding a SA in leather dept to help you on the day.

Now it really scares me of this online reservation... how can they simply tell those people who are legit lover of the brand than those who are they just to make money out of it... a.k.a resellers...

I made my appointment for tomorrow this morning at 10:30 am sharp. They asked for name, phone number, and passport number. They then sent a validation code via SMS and asked me to input it on the site window. Then this is the message I got:View attachment 3810371
Thank you so much for the update! Was it all done via smart phone? You don't have to go to the store or anything, correct?

please let us know if you are successful! i was reading on another site that it might be random and not based on first come first serve.

I feel like queing is a hassle but it's more of a sure thing if you get in line early enough.

I'm making a pit stop to Paris in November so I will only have two days to try. It's like a pp said what are the chances that you get an appointment and the bag.

Hoping it's an improvement but not liking my odds so far.

I tried the online booking system around 3:30 PM Paris time. Got an SMS 7:41 -

Your appointment is confirmed. You will be welcomed on Sep 1, 2017 at 10:30 AM precise in our Faubourg Saint Honoré store.

This is what I get when I visit the appointment page:

NB : Appointments are personal. Thank you for carrying the passport you registered with.

There is no way to modify or cancel the appointment. I am not in Paris, will be in a few weeks so I'm testing to see how this system works. I'll contact them and see if I can cancel somehow, don't want to occupy a slot.

If you have any questions fee free to ask  Please don't try it though, so the appointments remain available for the people there!
