thanks silverfern!! I thought the bag looked a little orange on the website, so I was nervous, but it's really a gorgeous tan/beige shade.
I feel like you do in reverse, I wish I was able to get the python bag too. I love the black contrast on your bag!

This is a really soft, silky leather, mochiblure, even softer than my Amalia tote.

Lanvin is just the best sotre for quality of their fabrics, colors, détails... Not only for bags, but for garment.
Its true that you can't found a lot of informations on the internet for Lanvin, you have better to go to the store if you want to have the book of bags or anything else, in Paris of course ^^
Lanvin is french, and stay in France (not in the internet), thats all

alisonanna, your amalia is beautiful! congrats!!! i was eyeing that bag and an ivory amalia on departement feminin but by the time i'd made up my mind on which i'd wanted, both were sold out!

i bought the amalia tote in black from a different website in the end and i love the tote lots too. the leather is so soft & divine and i find that the tote is ideal for lugging around tonnes of stuff but i'll want to have an amalia shoulder bag at some point in time..

alisonanna - Oooohhhh, you got the textured leather Amalia!!! I was eyeing that for quite a while. It looks so soft, and I LOVE that delicious caramelly shade.

Don't know about you all, but I just love looking at Lanvin leather up close. The grain and texture is so beautiful

Sorry, it doesn't say where it retails, apart from at Lanvin stores, but there's a price: 1350 euro. Am sure it'll be in some stores soon!
