I would like an opinion on this bag I found on ebay. It is a Lanvin bag. I have never owned one before and was wondering if anyone has this Large Rosa Metallic Tote and could comment on the quality of it. It looks beautiful online. Thank you!

A friend has this bag and loves it. It is made of laser cut leather which has a lovely metallic sheen and texture. My Happy bag pictured in post #267 is made of the same leather.

In my opinion Lanvin bags are of beautiful quality and wear well.

This is a large and rather heavy bag though if weight matters. Hope that helps.

Hmmm, It is so hard to tell the true color and texture of the bag from online pictures. But I suppose that is the risk you take when you purchase from ebay. I love the look of your Happy bag. I've been looking for something large enough to carry all of my baby essentials (and I hate diaper bags) so maybe this tote will work. I still haven't decided yet.

There's another Lanvin thread and there are photos of the Gold Rosa that belongs to CeeJay in the very first post. I've seen her bag IRL and can tell you that it's absolutely gorgeous!... (if a little heavy)

The bag you're considering is silver (CeeJay's is gold). Seems like a great deal - it retailed for something like $2300.

rdgldy - Gorgeous black Amalia! I keep eyeing the black one too. The quilted leather is so pretty, and the texture on the lambskin is beautiful in black.
