I think you could make it work really well with A/W outfits -- the silver would contrast against outerwear in black or dark brown, and would sparkle against a coat in white! It would add a really luxe look to a cold-weather ensemble.

Wow, if I owned that bag, I'd never put it down! But I agree, metallics go great with any color or color combination whatsoever.

When I tried on that bag i was wearing all black and it looked amazing so I think it would be absolutely fine with darker f/w colours. The metallic finish is so beautiful in person and more of a champagne colour than a bright metallic. That pic is of the bag I got for my friend - but I SO wanted it for me!

^^ note that lanvin currently has 2 versions of the leopard happy right now - one is a a pony-hair leopard one which is the picture posted by candyflower, and the other is a leather leopard print one which is the one still available on barneys' website link posted by alisonanna.

there's a price difference too - the pony-hair leopard bag retails in the US for US$2,500, and the leather leopard bag retails for approx US$1,775.

^^ i was just wondering the same thing! i haven't seen the quilted Happy anywhere, only a smaller quilted bag on net-a-porter and a quilted Amalia elsewhere.
