to get an idea of the gorgeous patina it gets, check out these pix of my kelly next to a little clutch. the clutch never gets used and has no patina, whereas the kelly does get out and about -- and every couple weeks i buff it with a goat's hair brush to smoothe scratches . . . . the out of focus pic is without flash.

DQ and GINA!! OMG - Those LUSCIOUS bags are making me *swoon*, I can smell them. :love: :drool:

I just have the Evelyne Ebene Barenia and I LOVE HER!!! It's been raining here....so I haven't been brave enough to take her out yet? I try to rub her and cuddle her...... but just want her to patina and age well (better her than me:nuts: )

I would have bought this myself, except I'm looking for the pm size in barenia.

Jenny if you don't have any luck finding one in the US, you can call the Hilton Hermes and ask if they'll charge/ship. You should be able to get the VAT off as well.

I just found this thread and wanted to post pics of a brand new natural barenia piece next to one with patina.

On the left is a brand new Picotin MM ( I sold that one recently) and the other is my HAC 32cm.

I absolutely love this leather and I am one of many that owe that love to Sarah! She introduced me to barenia and I never looked back!!!!:heart:
