Help fellow VCA Alhambra bracelet owners. I have the same dilemma - to shorten or not to shorten. The original length bothers me a bit, I’m thinking of removing either 2 or 4 links. Leaning towards 4. For reference, my Loves are 17. Any suggestions based on experience all welcome! TIA. Ps current lead time in the UK is 8 weeks! 
How do you find the dangling motif? I started wearing my bracelet like that but it’s a parlava to put on and I hate to sleep/shower with it. I’m on the fence about shortening it too just in case I’d wear it with another bracelet one day. Would be great to hear your thoughts? TIA.I thought of this exact conversation last night at dinner. My friend wore three of her VA bracelets - GMOP/Pave, Guilloche/Pave, Onyx/Pave. She has had none of them shortened, wore them all next to each other with the motif dangling. She has many incredible watches, the most amazing exotic Birkin collection (last night was 30 matte Blue St. Cyr GHW) and plenty of jewelry as well. Like me, she would never shorten them because she would prefer to dangle the motif and have the option to wear with her necklaces. I think that, unless you would always wear it only as a bracelet or only as an extender, you have to decide which bothers you more: too big/dangling motif or uneven necklace/too short to connect two and wear as a necklace.

Eep 8 weeks!! I would hate to be parted with my pieces for an adjustment if it takes that long. But I do think your bracelet is a bit too loose..
So 1 link (2 hoops connected) is about 0.5cm, since the original full bracelet length is about 19cm I would say remove 4 links to make your bracelet 17cm to stack with your Cartier.
Take off the bracelet and twist the chains to shorten them a bit measuring it against a ruler and then try it on for the length that you want (it would be helpful if you could get someone else to put it on you while the chains are twisted so they don’t flip back). Personally I think 4 links removed would be great for your stack!
I wear 17 Love and 16 JUC and had 4 links removed from my VCA. It fits so much better. My SA said only do 2 but then I was not happy with the unevenness of the link removal so 4 made it even.Help fellow VCA Alhambra bracelet owners. I’m hoping that’s the worst case scenario and I’m fact, it’s shorter. Either way, I have to shorten it because this long is driving me crazy. Thank you for your response, 4 links is going to be the magic number.

I am the same size in love and JUC as you, my wrist is 16 cm... without 4 links it was too tight for me :/, 2 would be asymmetrical so I am thinking maybe they can add an extra link by the clasp to make it a bit longer
I’ve asked before about that option and VCA will only do it their way is what my SA said, but never hurts to ask.
I am another who would love 4 taken out between motifs but one added back near the clasp!!! But my NYC SA also said they would not do that! I don't understand that, because taking out two making the lengths between motifs uneven is worse in appearance than what we would like to do! 3 links out would make the bracelet just about a standard 7" which I would find perfect for this style bracelet,
Hello! I just got my bracelet back from resizing and they did this without me asking. I had already 4 links taken out (so it was evenly spaced) but it was just too big it was annoying for me. So I asked to have 2 links taken out (to around 16cm) and they removed 4 links between the motifs and placed 1 links back at the clasp and 1 at the end. Not sure if this is something new? They made it even between the motifs. Sorry for the terrible photo of the full length but it is night and too dark for this haha. But just to give the idea.
