Length of VA bracelet with links removed

I have the same wrist size as you and tried on the sample bracelets in store and decided to have 8 links removed. The clasp of the sample bracelet is kinda hard to open. Do you find it difficult to put the 8 links removed bracelet on yourself?
It's challenging, but it comes with the territory if I want a tight fitting bracelet. I've developed a method where I hold it against my body, and let the loop side hang downward while I use the other hand to do the clasp upwards. Takes me one or two tries. I'd rather develop this skill than have a bracelet that dangles too much.

Yeah I’m the same way. You gotta do what you gotta do :)

Here are pics of two bracelets with 6 links removed and one with 8 links.
For reference my wrist is 13.5 cm.
I fit both both. I did 6, but I think I prefer 8. Wonder if I will make the adjustment. My mom likes 8 links removed. According to VCA, 8 is the most they will remove.View attachment 4785348
I like being able to see a lot of motifs at one time. And a lot of shifting around bothers me.

This is super helpful! I have super tiny wrists as well, ~13cm. 8 removed looks great on you! Thank you for posting this:smile:

My bracelet fits exactly like yours. I’m deciding if I should put some links back, but I actually like the fit on you.

I went with 6 links removed and twisting the other 2 motif with a slightly longer chain to shorten (rather than having 8 links removed). I find it easier to put the bracelet on when it is slightly longer. Without twisting the chain to shorten, my motifs tend to flip a lot because there is a good one finger space of 'dangle' from the wrist. I think removing slightly less links allows me to wear with ease and loosen or tighten between winter and summer.

How do you twist it? Do you have a pic?

I forgot to say that the easiest way (for me) is to put the bracelet on first. Once secure I find the motif closest to the chain I want shortened and then flip the motif twice. One flip will mean you see the bottom of the motif, second flip will bring motif face back up. The adjacent chain will more or less shorten by the length of 1 link (2 hoops).

Great advice! Thanks for explaining!
