Had a great experience at the H Bellagio. They have a few scarves and shawls from seasons past, which is what I was looking for. Scored a lovely Etendards et Bannieres CSGM and 2 maxi twillys. Jackie was a pleasure to work with, highly recommend.

Crystals on the other hand.....I felt like I was bothering them by just walking in there even though the store had just opened! Plus I got a very obvious once over from the SA, and even though I was wearing a H scarf, CDC, and clic clac, I still felt inferior.

Will try Encore later today but based on above poster's comments, I am really am not expecting anything spectacular.

omg! I love Jackie from Bellagio too!! I don't know when you got your 2 maxi twilly but if its around sept 22nd than its you she was telling me about that bought maxi twilly from her.

Okay so I usually go to vegas once or twice a year. Since my 1st Hermes store I ever stepped in was in vegas at Bellagio and I was very lucky to met my sales girl,Jackie, I only been shopping with her. I don't live in the states so I would call her and get her to send me scarves(usually older one that is little rare to find) and I go across the boarder and pick it up near where I live. I never had problem with her and before the rules changed she even send me some empty scarves boxes because one time I didn't take the box and slightly regretted and call her to send me one while she send me other scarves down to me.

I never feel pressure to buy anything and since she knows my taste in scarves and I am very picky she would show me till I find one I love and even sometimes I would leave the store without buying anything even though she spend over two hours with me talking while browsing.

After few orders I was telling her that I am coming down to Vegas and ask her if she knew anyone at Louis Vuitton cause I wanted to buy a 4000$ bag from Vuitton and see if she knows anyone to get me the hook up (it was a size they discontinued and I was hoping if they had some at the backroom). And she said the magical words to me "why? have you ever thought of getting a birkin?" - my life changed and long story short I went down and pick up my first birkin on the second trip since I didn't know what colour I wanted and leather so I went down to pick out my leather and picked up my birkin (AND a CDC bracelet that she had hiding in the drawer) 8 months after when I was dropping by to see Celine Dion.

What I would like to say is that Hermes really care about loyalty and you might think if you shop at different hermes stores or spend a lot of money you might score the birkin or the kelly. But really is you need to build a relationship with your sales girl and be good to them like any of your other relationship and she will offer you the world of hermes to you for your choosing. Just my 2 cents ;)

I will be in Vegas for Thanksgiving and hubby wants to buy me my first H item for Christmas. What a sweetie!

What do you think the odds are of scoring a Kelly Double Tour bracelet with PHW? Not particular on color ... I really want a PHW and leather bracelet so I'd be open to other styles.

Are these things a newbie can buy as a walk-in? Hoping so since it's a tourist town.

Thanks for any info! :smile1:

Las Vegas is Hermes heaven!!!! You can definitely walk in as a newbie and get a KDT (a CDC is much harder) amongst other things. If you go to the Crystals, ask for Frances, she's an angel...she can make miracles happen! I got my first hermes scarves there, then went on to get my first kelly, first birkin... from her, and I was just a tourist from SF. Now she's my go to SA.
Between the 3 stores, you can definitely score a KDT or other yummy goodies, things you didn't even know you wanted. Go into the boutique with an open mind, just in case there isn't a KDT around, but there might be a rivale or kelly dog or CDC... a clic clac paired with a couple of enamels would make a nice souvenir too.
H at the Bellagio is good and the one at Encore is a great backup. Good luck to you. and have fun!!!

Ok, now I am officially excited! I literally live in the middle of nowhere ... Closest "high end" shopping is a 6 hour drive so I usually go to Vegas once a year to stock up. But it will be the first time I venture into H.

Thanks for the advice, good life!

yes, if you're not picky on color most any store will have one available for anyone (out on display and in drawers).

Definitely! You should have no trouble finding a bracelet; I would recommend the Bellagio boutique - and if not there is always Crystals and Encore! I like what was said by another member - keep an open mind. I'm sure you'll find other things you like that you never knew you even wanted! Good luck!
