I was at the Crystals location yesterday. I was greeted by the SAs, who were all very nice. Very surprising considering I got quite the opposite from other boutiques in the same mall. I was too intimidated to ask for a B or K due to lac of prior relationship but now I wish I had.

I visit Vegas a couple of times a year for business trips, and have a slight observation to share:

1. The Encore Store - An acquaintance who works as a VIP concierge at Wynn/Encore told me once that this store holds a small BK reserve for VIPs, and she usually fetches the bags for them then delivers to their rooms. The inventory here is alright, but BKs are mostly reserved for hotel VIPs and long-time customers loyal to this store.

2. The Crystals Store - From past visits, I find that this store has the most inventory out of the three. But they are also the least accommodating... The sales staff are always friendly, but they repeat the same "waitlist" speech for BKs. I'm guessing if you want more exotics and can make large "investments" on a regular basis, this is the store to choose.

3. The Bellagio Store - This is the smallest store of the bunch, and because of this, they are usually more accommodating. Not to say they're the friendliest of the bunch... But they tend to make surprise offers from time to time. My guess is they're trying to build up a repeating customer base rather than a one-time vacation splurge by offering you a bag on the first attempt and creating the illusion that bags are easy to get here. However, a few of the managers here become quite demanding over time... So it really depends on which manager receives your request...

That's my limited experience with Vegas stores, I'd love to hear others' feedback as well!

Hi all, new to the purse forum but would appreciate some insight.

I'm headed to Vegas in two weeks time. Has anyone had any luck here lately? (specifically with a birkin or kelly?) I'm really hoping for a birkin but I know that my chances of scoring one on a walk-in are slim.

They pretty much ALWAYS have them... Sometimes its just a bit difficult to coax one out of the back room. In my experience its useless to go to the shop at Encore unless you are a big gambler there. Best stock is at Crystals and Bellagio. Try to find an SA that seems like they're in a good mood. Lol

Good Luck!!

Hi, wonderful TPFers! I'm going to Vegas in a couple weeks and wanted to know if anyone has tips for scoring a B there. I've read this thread from beginning to end but things changes (e.g. no more wait list). I'll be staying at the Encore but I noticed some people have said that they tend to keep their Bs/Ks for Encore VIPs (which, sadly, I am not...). I'm not opposed to checking out the other stores. If anyone has an SA they would recommend anywhere, please let me know! Thank you all very much in advance :smile1:

i tried just asking several times (in various ways including with my bf and after buying a 1K bracelet) and got a no every time. i think you need to spend money on random other things before you might get one. someone saw a lady spend like 10K in rtw and they got a special order B from the back.

Thanks, gymangel812. Of course that lady spent over $10k and got offered a B... :shrugs: I was hoping that since it's a tourist destination, it might be a little easier but it doesn't sound like that's the case. Hope we get lucky...

Hi all! I just wanted to share my Hermes experience in Vegas. I was there a few weeks ago for business.
I visited all three stores:

-Bellagio:
It's the smallest of the three, but has the biggest supply, however much of their more exclusive items (B & K) are reserved for VIPS. I went in twice. Both times the SAs were very rude and not even interested in helping me. When I finally did ask for help, they could tell I was quite knowledgeable about the brand and changed their attitude a little bit-- however still not very friendly. The first time I went, there was a lady purchasing a crocodile kelly, however I didn't even bother asking for a B or K, because by the tone of the SAs voice and the rolling his eyes when I even glanced over at the bag, I knew I wasn't going to get anywhere. I didn't really feel like spending money on smaller items with an SA that was rude. I was looking at plates when I overheard someone else ask if they had any B or K. A different SA told them that they needed to spend more money on other items, but did hint that they had some in the back if they were willing to do so.

-Crystals: I only went once, and had an Asian SA with a very thick accent, which I found a bit hard to understand, but nonetheless she seemed eager to help me. I brought up if they had any Bs and she laughed and brushed me off.

-Encore: Also went twice, and spoke to a different SA each time. The first time I looked at other bags, and then asked if they had any B, the SA immediately turned cold and I could tell she didn't want to help me. She turned her back to me and proceeded to do other things. The other SA was nice but politely brushed me off when I brought up wanting a B. They did have good stock on other items however, and I picked up a few things here.
