Ladies...Any RUDE/CATTY/SNIDE/NASTY Remarks about your Birkins or ANY Hermès Purchase

I have multiple Bs and Ks but I have only one friend I feel like I can share my new purchases with. I won't bring out a B/K/C with a majority of my husbands friends, and even with some of my girlfriends. I think girls can get competitive or jealous and I don't need that. Maybe they just don't care to broadcast?

remainsilly, I think you may have missed my point and this thread clearly does not apply to you as you do not buy Birkins. My point is that when someone has complimented you on your bag, asked you how you managed to get one and from where and then says she is going to do the same, and then ends up with two at the same time, it is curious that the story has not been shared, where as other stories about shoes etc. have. Perhaps it is an irrelevant thread but I figured so much gets shared on this site, why not throw it out there. Clearly you have your own opinion about Hermès and one of the most visited forums is all about buying a Birkin and sharing experiences and photos because for some of us it is a moment in our lives we wish to share. Thank you for your comment.

to not share and to stare very closely at mine when I'm carrying it makes me wonder. Just a thought.
I wonder what you're wondering about, since you haven't said. Is it that you suspect these bags are fakes? There sure are many fakes, and people eager to make an impression that is deceptive. But there are also people who buy expensive luxury bags who are spending beyond their means, running up ridiculous debt and ignoring essentials, etc. Fakery as a pattern of behavior is widely distributed.

I think most of us just shrug and enjoy our own nice things.

It's the deceit that bothers me the most but I agree, I will stop bothering about it as it's not my problem. Clearly, it is not a big issue for anyone so I will let it go. Thanks

I'm confused as to your concern?
There are plenty of people who purchase Birkins and choose not to share for a variety of reasons, i.e. Security, etc.
I choose not to share my purchases it's a personal choice but that doesn't mean that I won't compliment anyone else who chooses to share.

Congrats on your Birkin, enjoy❤️

TPF is the only place I discuss H items. If a stranger or anyone other than a close friend asks me where I bought my bag, I usually say "Chinatown." I love H, but I am very low key and don't want to call attention, so I lie in reverse. [emoji14]
Lol, Chinatown. If only a real birkin was that easy and cheap ;)
